  • Block email by subject (not address) in Yahoo mail?

    Hi,

I'm getting all these spam messages in Yahoo mail. They have identical subject lines, but they come from slightly different domains each time, which makes blocking each one tedious and ineffective.

Can I block emails by subject? Note that I do not want to filter them to the trash bin. I already know how to do this. I want to prevent them from reaching me in the first place.

    Thanks for your help,

  • What is ctskmstr.exe (Pharos) and how can I get rid of it?

I keep getting an error message that says Pharos Systems ComTaskMaster has stopped working. I don't even know for sure what it is or what it does. I think it may be related to my printer. The error message comes up when I turn on my computer, and when I print documents.

I know how to uninstall it, but since I don't know if the application is useful, I don't want to delete it yet (in case I can't get it back).

Is there a way for me to temporarily disable it or turn it off?

I'm not computer illiterate, but I'm not familiar with a lot of complex terminology.

Thank you for any suggestions. I appreciate advice on this issue.

  • How do you make flossing fun?

Flossing is beneficial, but it's also a real chore. My dentist says I should be flossing more frequently. Any ideas for how to make flossing more fun?

  • Microsoft Word 2007: How do you restart numbering at 1 automatically?

I have a numbered list from 1 to 3. I want to copy the exact list 49 times. However, when I copy and paste, the numbers don't restart at 1. They go 4,5,6 and then the next list is 7,8,9.

While this can be a useful function, I'd like to turn it off temporarily.

Important: I already know that I can manually click each list and click 'restart numbering at 1' but there are too many lists. Plus, if I make an error it reflects poorly on me for this assignment.

How can I get each copied list to restart at 1 automatically?

    Thank you for the help.

  • Microsoft Word 2007: How do you use sequential page numbering?

I have a one page document. I want to print 50 copies of it, with each page numbered sequentially from 1 to 50. (It's a questionnaire that needs to be numbered to identify 50 different participants).

I've read about field codes, but they are new to me, and I'm not sure how they work.

I know that I could print the pages one at a time, and renumber the pages manually, but I know there is a better method. Plus, I may have more than 50 participants. I don't think the header/footer page numbering function will work - I think I'd just end up with 50 copies all numbered as page one.

    Thank you for the help.
