IM 100% addicted to Michael Jackson, The Greatest Entertainer Who Ever Lived. He's the most famous person on earth with the most globally recognizeable face. MJ IS FOREVER

  • Who is the most influential person in the world?

Bill Gates? I don't think so. If you ask any poor kid from Asia about Bill Gates, do they know who he is or have any idea who he is or what he did? Oprah Winfrey? Not everyone in developing countries has television or access to cable TV to know who she is. President of the United States? Many know him but do homeless kids sleeping in the streets aged 6-8 year old from third world countries know him? I don't think so. Jackie Chan? Ghandi? What did these people do that even poor homeless kids in developing countries will remember them? BUT ASK ABOUT MICHAEL JACKSON, these poor kids less than 10 years of age know Michael Jackson's music, his performances and iconic dance moves. Even Michael Jackson's look is so unique that his face is the most globally recognizable face in the world (especially with his sunglasses on). Dead or alive, MICHAEL JACKSON IS SINGLY THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSON IN THE WORLD. Not everyone knows Jesus, especially in the middle east and East Asia where a majority of people have no idea what Christianity is.

I myself am a witness how crazy famous Michael Jackson is. I go around the city asking random street kids about Elvis Presley and The Beatles. I even show a picture of Elvis Presley, The Beatles and Michael Jackson to them (I printed on bond paper). These street kids age 6-7 years old (they look like 5 years old due to malnutrition) only recognized Michael Jackson's picture. They don't know who Elvis Presley or The Beatles are. It's hard to believe but absolutely ALL of them know who Michael Jackson is. They do not have a shelter, television and internet to begin with but they know Michael Jackson's Beat It and Thriller very well. In fact, they know how to sing Beat It and know the lyrics very well when they should only be familiar with local music in our country. When I asked them when they knew about MJ, most answers were: "I've known him since I was a little kid". Michael Jackson's appeal was so universal. If Michael Jackson could grasp the minds and hearts of these kids who haven't even been to school or reached adolescence, we know that Michael is a very powerful person. No other person/celebrity could ever achieve such fame in this present age. Michael Jackson, whether you actually like him or not, is the most influential person ever. He is also the most famous man in the world (excluding religious figures). Michael Jackson broke down many barriers such as religion, race, ethnicity, culture etc. He is famous in all four corners of Earth!

Who do you think is the most influential person ever?

  • Why is Elvis Presley so overrated? And why do Elvis fans always compare him to MJ?

I don't know what the hype on Elvis is all about in the western world. He just isn't famous outside of USA, Europe and first world countries. He had style and voice but that's it. He never changed the way music sounds because he never composed a sound or a single song at all. His dancing is funny, offbeat and awkward. He lacks showmanship.

But Elvis fans always compare him to Michael Jackson, the world's greatest entertainer of all time. Elvis just isn't in the same level as MJ. Let's be real. MJ actually wrote and composed HIT SONGS (We Are The World, Billie Jean, Beat It, Smooth Criminal) and I must say his Beat It, Billie Jean are the most famous songs in the world. Even the poor kids (with no shelter, televison and internet) know these songs. MJ actually popularized dance moves that shaked the world: MOONWALK, THE LEAN, ROBOT etc. That's why when you ask any people about MJ, they always relate him to dancing. When you play Elvis songs really loud in public in third world countries, will anyone know it's Elvis singing? I'm talking about average people and rich and poor. But when you play Michael Jackson songs really loud in public, anyone will recognize it's Michael Jackson and they will even dance or sing along to his songs. Even the homeless kids and the kids begging for money in the footbridge know Michael Jackson's Beat It and Billie Jean very well and they know the lyrics. Anyone rich or poor, young or old will easily recognize MJ's iconic thriller jacket. Are Elvis fans just crazy and deluded??? In this present age, I doubt any average kid can recognize any Elvis song. But when I played MJ's unreleased and rare songs and asked many poor kids to guess who's singing, they correctly guessed it was MJ's song because his voice is so distinct and unique. Are Elvis fans living in fantasy??? If they dress up as Elvis in my country, people will think they're crazy and dressed like from the past. I don't think any street kid will recognize them as dressed up as Elvis. But when i go around the city wearing my Billie Jean jacket or Thriller jacket, many will yell at me: "Michael Jackson idol!" or sing a few lines of Smooth Criminal or say "Aooww" or "Hee hee".

  • Who is the most famous person on earth?

OK. It's already a fact that Michael Jackson is the most famous person on earth because even here in Southeast Asia Philippines, people from the most remote places in Luzon island Pangasinan province especially the local kids know Michael Jackson and his music. According to Guinness World Records, MJ holds the record as THE MOST SUCCESSFUL ENTERTAINER OF ALL TIME AND THE MOST AWARDED ARTIST OF ALL TIME. In fact, we have two official MJ fan clubs here whereas there is no elvis or the beatles fan club here sorry. Oh FOR THE RECORD MJ has been popular even wayyyy before hi death in 2009 which is why he is the most famous man on earth.

I just wanted to know your opinion of the OTHER famous people on earth.

P.S. Don't give me Elvis Presley because show a picture of Elvis Presley here and no one will recognize who he is. You'll look like a fool dressed up as Elvis here because trust me an average person has no idea who Elvis is here in thrid world Asia. The beatles aren't known here either. Probably only to those who belong to higher class. Don't give me Obama either because WHO IS OBAMA? The world doesn't just include the western countries. Asia and Africa must be considered too!

Maybe Santa Claus, Jesus, Muhammad etc. THANKS!

  • Is Michael Jackson's song Heartbreaker dubstep?

Okay. A lot of people on youtube say that the song "Heartbreaker" by Michael Jackson is dubstep. I've been listening to it since 2006 and when I heard a dubstep song yesterday and compared it to Heartbreaker, the latter really sounds like dustep.

Im curious if you guys also think it's dubstep. King Michael Jackson is wayyyy ahead of time in dubstep because Heartbreaker was released in 2001 from his last album Invincible. MJ is truly a pioneer in music that's why he is hailed as THE WORLD'S GREATEST ENTERTAINER WHO EVER LIVED.

  • Which Michael Jackson songs obviously sound like MJ singing and which songs do not obviously sound like MJ?

I'm really curious if which Michael Jackson songs, if played in the public, obviously sound like MJ's voice to the casual listener or to the non-fans and to people who ONLY know MJ's distinct and distinguishable voice. Pleassseeee do not include popular MJ songs such as thriller, bad, smooth criminal because these are his popular songs and they know it's MJ no matter what. I just want to know which unpopular/not common MJ songs that ordinary people/not MJ fans will know it's an MJ song because it sounds like the distinct MJ voice even if they don't know the song because they are not fans.

As an obsessed MJ fan from Asia, I know the fact that his voice changed over the years. He has a distinct voice in thriller era, bad era, dangerous/HIStory era and Invincible era. His voice sorta got deeper/stronger and rougher after bad era . I also know that if you're an MJ fan, all his songs sound like his vocals. But if you're not a fan, not all songs sound like MJ.

These are the lesser known/unpopular MJ songs which, when I asked some random people I met in public listen to it and guess who the singer is, were correctly identified/guessed that it's MJ's song/voice. These are the songs that they correctly guessed it's Michael Jackson's voice without giving them clues/choices who the singer is. They say it obviously sounds like MJ:

    Leave me alone

    We've had enough (rare song)

    She Drives Me Wild

    Ghosts

    D.S.

    2 bad

I can't make it another day

    Much too soon

These are the lesser known/unpopular MJ songs which, when I asked some random people to listen to it and guess who the singer is, were not guessed as Michael Jackson song. These are the songs that they DID NOT think it's Michael Jackson's voice singing. They didn't think it's MJ:

    Monkey Business (rare song)

    2000 watts

Why you wanna trip on me

    Privacy

Mind is the magic (rare song)

    Scream

If you don't love me (unreleased)

I need to know because when I hang out with my MJ fan friends in the public, we show to the public that we are proud MJ fans and I want them to hear MJ songs that are not common/not the usual and the MJ songs that are uncommon/not popular but they obviously sound like MJ's voice singing (beat it, billie jean, thriller are all TOO common and obviously MJ). I want the people to hear that we MJ fans don't just listen to the common and popular MJ songs but we also appreciate the less heard of/ uncommon/ unpopular MJ songs to spread MJ's legacy and remind everyone that even here in Asia MJ is big! MJ is popular in my country and we have 2 official fan clubs!

MICHAEL JACKSON IS THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER WHO EVER LIVED! LONG LIVE THE MOST FAMOUS MAN IN THE WORLD! WITH THE MOST GLOBALLY RECOGNIZEABLE FACE!

    THANKS!!!!

  • Michael Jackson is the Greatest Entertainer who ever lived. Why is he so underrated?

Michael Jackson is the most successful entertainer of all time and that is a fact because it is measurable, not like saying that Michael Jackson is The Greatest Entertainer Who Ever Lived because many say that this is just an opinion. I do believe that the majority of people's opinion that MJ is simply the greatest entertainer of all time/who ever lived is VALID because he really is the most globally recognizable human being ever and he is the most famous man on earth because the name MICHAEL JACKSON is the most searched name on all languages of google search engine according to google in 2009.

Show a picture of Michael Jackson to people anywhere on earth and 90% or even greater would recognize him or know who he is. Show a picture of Elvis Presley or The Beatles in my country and you are lucky if 25% can recognize them because elvis presley(who others claim as the king) or the beatles are NOT familiar to a majority of people in my country. I mean MJ's talent spreads to any religion race, ethnicity, nationality or geography. Wherever you are in the world, Michael Jackson will be recognized by a lot of people because he was so influential.

I'm from the Philippines which is a third world country in Southeast Asia and the fact is he is the most influential international artist here. You would hear around 80% of performers say that Michael Jackson made a huge impact in their lives or influenced them with MJ's otherworldly talent. I even read a comment from a person in Pakistan saying that even poor people in Pakistan know who MJ is and his dances and songs. Same goes here in the Philippines. When my friends and I walk around the city (Manila) wearing MJ costumes, never has there been a time when no one says "idol" or "King of pop" or "Michael Jackson". People from the sidewalks or beggars and street children would yell "Michael Jackson my idol!" My friend and I randomly asked some poor kids why they like MJ. They say that his talent is unbelievable and out of this world. He is recognized everywhere in my country! Poor kids dance to MJ music! So I believe in what motown founder Barry Gordy said that "The term King of pop doesn't suite MJ anymore, MJ was simply the greatest entertainer who ever lived considering the impact he made to this earth.

I do not believe in people who say that ELVIS PRESLEY OR THE BEATLES were better than MJ in terms of popularity or talent. For crying out loud, ELVIS or THE BEATLES are not familiar to the people in my country! Probably the whole world. They were just known in western countries and probably people in my country who are not from the lower class(poor). Michael Jackson is global! His influence reaches even to the poorest provinces in my country.

It would be super embarassing to play out loud elvis presley or beatles songs because very few people know them here and hardly anyone knows them and this may also be due to the fact that there are many poor people/poverty line families here. MICHAEL JACKSON APPEAL WAS GLOBAL AND UNIVERSAL! Even if some say that the beatles were better musically or elvis was greater, these are just opinions and this may be true for their country only but MJ was global! Even people from tribes in africa honor MJ as their king.

I even laughed in my room when I read that elvis was the king. King of what? King of their opinion? because MJ was definitely the most famous entertainer and the most globally recognized icon. Everyone knows him. Even I myself don't speak english but I'm writing in english for the sake of spreading MJ's legacy. May the greatest entertainer of all time live forever through his legacy!

  • Is the King Michael Jackson famous in your country?

We all know that Michael Jackson is the Greatest Entertainer to ever live on Earth and he is also the most famous man on earth. Here in Asia (Philippines), he is sooo idolized by many artists that you would hear about 80% of performers say that Michael Jackson made a huge impact in their lives. I myself consider Michael Jackson my life. He is my life. I listen to his music everyday since I first knew him in 2006 when I was a kid and I never listened to any other artist than MJ because none can compare to Michael Jackson's genius in music.

I don't understand why so many elvis fans claim that elvis is the king whatsoever. Elvis is so not known in my country as well as beatles blah blah.

I think it would be totally embarassing to play elvis music in public but if it's MJ's music, everyone, young and old, starts to dance and sing to MJ's tunes.

So is Michael Jackson, the King of pop, rock and soul really famous in your country? What country are you from? What race/ethnicity. Thanks. I just want to know how much he influenced the world.

  • What if someone says that an attractive person has a look-alike?

When a person has a look-alike, does it mean that he/she is as ugly or pretty as his/her look-alike? Could it be possible that a person who is extremely pretty or handsome has a look-alike that is not really attractive or pretty/handsome? Thanks! I'm just really curious.

  • Technology Help!! How can my I prevent my X-mini portable hamburger speaker from getting damaged?

Okay. So I bought an X-mini 2 portable speaker to use for my Michael Jackson dance practices in public because my ordinary desktop speakers can't be used when a power outlet isn't available in public places. This speaker has its own battery which means I can use it anywhere and it's really portable and convenient. The speaker has an option to twist the speaker so that there is a bass expansion effect and the sound improves because when I twist the speaker, there is more bass.

My question is: How would the speaker get damaged more easily when playing ultra loud music? When I twist the speaker to activate the bass expansion system or when I just leave it closed? (Opening the bass expansion thing means more bass and better sound and the speaker tends to vibrate due to bass and the sound quality is fantastic, while leaving it closed means more treble or high notes and this is more audible in noisy environments due to the noisy high notes)

Please I need help because I have OCD with new things and I hate the feeling when I do something that will destroy or shorten the life of my brand new speaker. Thanks :)

  • Why does my private video on youtube get a lot of views?

Okay. I uploaded about 10 videos of myself dancing some Michael Jackson songs which were meant to be viewed by only me which is the reason why I put it on private. A year later, I got back to those uploaded videos of mine and discovered that there are 100+ views on each of my videos. I also clicked the statistics button and saw a "first referral to...blah blah blah" Does this mean that my videos aren't really private and that others can see it? Does this also mean that youtube privacy settings aren't working well? How is this possible? It bothers me because those videos weren't meant to be seen by the public. I hope youtube can fix this or someone could shed a light to this mystery. I mean I set all videos to "private"

  • Trip to Mayon Volcano from Metro Manila on May 1, 2011 advice?

My whole family(5 people including me) and 2 other cars with different families are convoying from Manila to Bicol region on May 1, 2011.Is there anyone who would like to tell me how long the travel time is from Metro Manila (specifically Quezon City) to Legazpi City, Albay? How much is the fuel consumption? Will I pass the scenic bitukang manok road on the way there? I'm really looking forward to this since the last time my whole family has had a long road travel was 2 years ago from Manila to Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. Now, we're planning to travel and have a vacation near Mayon Volcano. BTW, we're leaving at 1 am to avoid the harsh sun and so that by the time we got there, the day is still young and we still have time to explore the city. I really love long road rides and I hope this vacation goes well and becomes memorable. I just love the feeling you get when you pack up for vacation and set out very early in the morning (after midnight) and feel the crisp, cold and fresh provincial air when you open your windows on the way there. BTW, the SUV we're using is a 2009 ford everest so any one of you know the fuel consumption and the travel time to get there? stoppover points? comments will be appreciated =)) We're leaving after holy week cuz we're scared that thieves might trip on our house so we're leaving on may 1, 2011.

  • HELP!!!! What apple Ipod should I get?

Hi im from the Philippines. I have a little problem. My brother recently received an ipod touch 8gb last december 25, 2010 as a gift and it is the latest gen and it's worth PhilPesos 10,500 (US$ 240.00) here. I previously wanted to get an ipod nano 6th gen touch screen which is worth PhilPesos 7,000(US$160.00) but when I saw my brother's ipod touch i thought twice about getting the nano because the nano lacks some features such as applications for games and music video support and video camera. I mean just Pesos 3,000 more and I can get the I touch. But the Ipod touch doesnt include an fm radio which I totally need because Im an outdoor person and I like doing outdoor activities such as biking and all I need is an ipod that can play music, radio and nothing more. But if I add Pesos 3,000 (US$68.00)more I can get an ipod touch which I think is really fun to play with because my brother has it and he doesn't get bored even if it's the only thing he can play with when he has to stay with my mom in her boring antique shop. I mean he can spend the whole day waiting in the boring shop without complaining of boredom or anything because the ipod touch entertains him just enough. But the apple ipod touch doesnt include an fm radio which is rather disappointing and it is too bulky for me and whenever I bike. So please Help! I think the latest Ipod nano is cute but many say it is just not worth it because of lack of features. I think the size of the nano is excellent for my use but I want something that will WOW the crowd whenever I commute or ride the train. SHOULD I WAIT FOR SEPTEMBER 2011 SO I CAN GET THE NEXT GENERATION NANO? US$ 160 is just not worth it for a nano which lacks features. I have to get an ipod before Summer of 2011 so that i have a music player to take with in our summer vacation trips etc. It has to be an APPLE! and BTW this is my first post here because this is REALLY URGENT! I think it's too late to get the nano and I could have gotten it earlier if it is recommendable. Thanks!
