I am the guy with the sob story about the guy i met online back in August that you all told me not to give any more money to. Well I didn't listen. And instead of conning me out of $8300.00, he ended up conning me out of $10,0000.00. Now my finances have suffered tremendously and i can't get Christmas gifts for the people I love. He opened it up and said I could use it because my bank Wachovia had gone out of business and I still had an outstanding balance with them and no bank would let me open up a checking account in my name with them. I've been banking with Bank of America for three years and have had no issues. My friend never uses the account. He opened it for ME to use only. Well one time there was an overdraft in the account, but I have since cleared that up. On Sept 28 I deposited a check for $8,100 from Greendot Corporation into the account. I wake up on Oct 1 and discover Bank of America closed the account. I could not log on online and meanwhile my checks from work are being deposited into this account because I did not go to my work HR and change it. I still have no access to this money and I can not pay bills and it's been over 30 days. Why would they block my account this long and when can i expect them to unblock it? I NEED MY MONEY. I cant pay bills, I cant get gas and I can't buy groceries The name on the check (my name) did not match the name on the account. So we had to get an affidavit. My friend had to send some paper work in and I had to send some paperwork in and get it notarized as well. THE CHECK CLEARED and this is why I can't understand why they still have the account blocked out *earlier i submitted this and I didn't like the "Fraud" answers I was getting. It is NOT FRAUD.
