  • Are doctos allowed to knowingly give wrong diagnosis?

I visited an OB-GYN for the first time in February. I had no issues but the visit was recommended since I am about to turn 28 and have never visited one before. However, when I received my diagnosis sheet, it had "menorrahgia" selected. I immediately looked this up on my phone, still in the exam room, and found that that is an "abnormally heavy and prolonged menstrual period," which I most certainly do NOT have. I expressed my concern to the nurse, asking why I had been diagnosed with something that I quite obviously didn't have, and she told me, "The doctor just has to put something down."

I found that odd, but figured I just didn't know how these things worked. Recently, I had to go back to the place to pay an extra bill (which no one could explain to my why I suddenly owed more money after paying the first time), and I, still bothered by the diagnosis, asked again why menorrahgia had been selected despite my not having it and was again told that the doctor simply could not say I was perfectly healthy.

SO: is a doctor really required to make a, however wrong, diagnosis and not allowed to call someone healthy and free of problems? Is it actually legal for them to knowingly and intentionally make an incorrect diagnosis?

  • Conceal undereye bags without lots of makeup?

I don't wear makeup, it makes my face feel heavy, dirty, and cakey, but now that I am getting in my late 20s, I am starting to get the undereye bags. I get plenty of good sleep and yet they still appear, making me look tired and droopy. Is there a makeup of some kind that is lightweight and can be applied to that area only? Concealer has been suggested to me, but that goes under foundation, right? I don't really like the idea of covering my face in layers as though I'm painting a wall.

  • Is it possible to create selected-choice-only fields in Word?

I know how to add form fields in a Word document, but I was wondering if it is possible to create fields where a selected choice "grays out" other areas of the form?

For instance, if the main field were "Pet" and someone chose "Cat," would it be possible to set it up so that a below field titled "Hoof Size" would then become unselectable as it does not apply to cats?

  • What does the typical apartment/flat in the UK look like?

It is possible that I will be moving to Britain early next year and was curious as to average living arrangements that can be found there. I have lived in various places in the U.S. and the typical layout of a one-bedroom apartment has differed between locations, from relatively spacious (Houston) to cramped (Chicago). This is also different from when I lived in Japan and had a 6-mat room but no bathroom (and thus had to use a community bath).

So, what sort of apartment/flat does the everyday single person live in when residing in the U.K.? By this, I mean: about how large; are bathrooms usually included and, if so, what does the bathroom tend to look like; kitchen or kitchenette (gas or electric stove?); and also about the building itself (are hallways indoors or outside?).

If possible, it would be nice to see a floor plan. I have searched for one, but the apartments I am finding are more for short-visits and people with more means than I. I need an average person's take on apartment life. =)
