I have been working on this already, but I'm not sure if my answer is the smallest perimeter possible. I know the square is not the smallest since some of the shape's largest sides are exposed to be part of the perimeter. I have gotten the perimeter to be smallest using a hexagon shape (as seen here: http://etc.usf.edu/clipart/64500/64535/64535_hexag... ) but I don't know if there is a design with a smaller perimeter. Does anyone know how I could prove the design is the smallest perimeter?

I also got a letter from another cc that they are closing the account (had balance totally paid off and $3500 line of credit) due to the other card's very late payment dropping my credit score.

My computer is starting up with three beeps. The computer works, and everything seems fine, but according to the list of beep codes for an AMI BIOS, this is a memory error code, likely the RAM IC is bad.

What is RAM IC? How would it be corrected? Is it fixable without replacing the motherboard? If not, how long can the computer work with this issue?

So I got as far as -4x^2 on the top. However, I do not see where the answer has -4x^2 - 6 on the top. Where does the -6 come from?

However, I'm not sure if I'm calculating this correctly. Is this correct? If not, an you explain what the actual cost to me would be?

$830 - amount I need to pay. I will get a $50 rebate in about two months, so actual cost is about $780.

The regular price of the computer is about $1200. So I am looking at an initial savings of 1200 - 780 = $420.

Now, the problem is that I'd have to use a high interest credit card to do this. The interest rate is 19.99%. It is billed monthly. I expect to pay $100/month, approximately paid off in 9 months.

Here is where I get confused:

Is this the correct way to calculate the total interest I will pay for the purchase?

assuming for 9 months, I figured

A= 830(1+(.1999/12)^(12*.75) I used t = .75 since 9months /12 months = .75

A = 830(1.01665833333)^9= 830(1.16031317) = $963.06 with interest.

This looks like I would pay about $130 in interest over the 9 months, but I don't understand how to figure in the fact I am paying off $100/month, so each month the actual amount that would have interest charged would be less.

Is this the correct formula to determine the interest on a credit card? I posted this in the credit card section of Yahoo Answers, but I did not get any mathematical responses, so I'm posting it here. Please understand I already know I will pay no interest if I pay in cash. I also know that paying for non-essentials on credit is a bad idea, however this is needed for work so I have to buy it in the next two months. I'm sure there is some trick here, but I'm not sure what it is. Fermat's Theorem would seem not to apply since 190 is not prime. Any one understand how to solve this?

The Dynamite game show has two types of questions: bang questions worth 6 points and snap questions worth 5 points each. Assuming there is no limit to the number of questions that can be answered, what is the greatest number of points that cannot be attained?

Please explain. I know it has something to do with multiples of 5 and 6.
