Hi there

I am interested in applying for an engineering position within the UK army - the website states you should have GCSE grade C in English, Maths and a craft or design subject. I have the english grade, did not do a craft or design subject in school however in college I did an SVQ2 in mechanical engineering, I have a GCSE for mathematics however it was a grade 5. I was really just wondering would I still be able to apply for this position and see if I qualify after taking the barb tests, or would they not even allow me to apply for the post as I do not have the specific grades asked. I did ask this on their website with an online recruiter however she was not overly helpful and did not really know much to be honest. (the role above is logistic marine engineer, however also looking at ship repair engineer and aircraft technician)

I am thinking about applying for the RAF as my job just now is really not something I want to do forever as it's administration which is not really my thing.

I am thinking about applying for the position as either aircraft technician (mechanical) or general technician workshops, however I am not sure if I am qualified enough. I did check their website for entry requirements however it's not the easiest to understand for a young guy like me.

I guess I am just wondering how many GCSE's do you need for these roles and what grades - e.g. 3 gces at grade 3 or above��

I had world of warcraft downloaded on my mac, deleted it off my mac then stopped playing it for a few months; I now want it back and have re activated my account however it begins me with a new character and does not have saved my old character which i had levelled up quite a bit; does anyone have any idea how to get back lost characters.

So basically on both my feet, my second toe in from my big toe on each foot slightly overlaps my third toe in from my big toe, I have no idea how this happened I have had it since I was young; possibly wearing shoes that were too small and overtime caused them to overlap.

I was just wondering if anyone knows what ways to get toes straightened and how long it takes, if wearing toe shoes for a while would help or if surgery to correct them is the only option.

I am asking as it is can be quite uncomfortable and obviously does make me a bit self conscious if anyone would ever see my feet.

So I have a media player on my iPad and I basically want to use Apple TV to watch these files as iTunes does not sell the show I would like to watch (attack on Titan), so I was just wondering if anyone knew if Apple TV would allow me to watch these downloaded shows using Apple TV or does it only allow films bought off iTunes. The tv show works fine using the media player I would just rather watch it on the big screen and do not want to purchase Apple TV if it won't work.

The media player I use is just called media player.

The Angular Acceleration

The Revolutions Turned in this Time

The Initial Kinetic Energy Stored

The Torque required to accelerate to the final angular velocity if the frictional resistance torque is 150KN

I have an exam coming up in the next few weeks and these questions are from a past paper, it does not have the answers or any explanations so I am hoping someone here could solve this for me and show me how they do it, thanks so much.

A Hydraulically operated sluice gate is used to control water levels and flow rates to the pen stock. To fully open the sluice gate from the closed position requires a force of 105KN for 14.2 seconds. The piston which is 725mm Diameter moves a distance of 1255mm.

For the hydraulic Gate system, calculate:

The work done by the piston

The mechanical power of the piston

The hydraulic fluid pressure in the cylinder

Pressure energy of the hydraulic fluid in the pipe

If anyone could explain this to me and how they figure it out that would be so great, thanks a lot of anyone can help.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to solve this question, basically the question reads as;

High bearing temperature in the turbine or generator can indicate problems such as overload, bearing fatigue or lubrication failure. One thermocouple is installed in each bearing pad to monitor bearing temperature

Explain how it may be configured to provide a 0 to 5 volt output.

I have searched all over the internet to try find an answer but I have no idea, this is a question worth 4 marks so I imagine it will require a bit of information.

When playing hunger craft on the mine craft servers when you kill or are killed by someone it will say you have gained so and so points, I think the more people that player has killed the more points you get if you kill them, but how do you find out exactly how many points as a player you actually have, the severs say you gain points however I am not sure how I find out how many I have.

So I bought a bluray copy of a film and it came with a free downloadable copy so I downloaded it and now it is in a flixster file on my desktop, but I was wondering if anyone knew how I can transfer that on to my blackberry playbook as it does not let me drag the film into the tablet folder, and there is not a flixster application for the playbook as far as I know.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can get the film on my tablet.

So lately I have seen on you-tube a lot of people playing the hunger games mine craft, but I have absolutely no idea how I get into a server or even a link to a website that allows you to play; can anyone send me a link and give me some information on how I can play this game online as it looks really good.

I have an Epson stylus SX235W printer scanner, but it will not connect to my wireless internet; the wirelessconnection is at full strength, but when I push the wi-fi button on the printer the wi-fi light is supposed to flash, but it just stays black as though it is broken. When I power up the printer the wi-fi flashes between red and green but then goes dark; no idea what is wrong, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The other day I had a new wireless box installed by virgin media, and since then the internet on my laptop has been going so slow to the point that every webpage I attempt to go on takes around 5 minutes to load, and then after that waiting a page comes up that says “this page has timed out”, occasionally the page will finally load, but with no images on the screen just words, for example if I was looking at clothes online I would not see the pictures just the text, and then I need to refresh around 5 times just to get the pictures up, but then when I attempt to go to the next page, the “this page has timed out” page appears.

The internet connection is at full strength, and browsing works perfectly with no issues on my blackberry playbook tablet, so I have come to the conclusion it is something to do with how my laptop is configured, I have Firefox for browsing, so could it be that I need to change some things around such as firewalls, for my new internet connection to work with Firefox. I have windows 7 and a Samsung laptop.

I was thinking of buying an I pad 3 or the new I pad I think it is known; and also buying the Samsung Galaxy Tablet 2, 10.1.

I was going to use the I pad for typically just browsing the internet and the Tablet for playing apps and watching movies while I am out and about.

Is it pointless to buy them both or is this a good idea ?
