  • Do people go out clubbing during December in Paris, Amsterdam or London?

Me and my friend are planning a trip to Paris, Amsterdam and London. We'll be going in December but I'm starting to think that we'll struggle to find clubs that are packed as we're thinking most people don't go out partying during winter. Should we still go or is it not worth our time? Summer time would be ideal but we won't be able to do that

Also, side question, what would one wear (male) when going out? I feel like if i wear a jacket or jumper i'll get too hot inside and if I don't and wear a t shirt, i'll be too cold.

  • Can someone explain/simplify this for me (Karl Marx) **URGENT**?

I REALLY NEED AN ANSWER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!! THIS IS FOR SCHOOL AND URGENT!:

Can someone please explain what Karl Marx is saying? I'm really struggling to understand this.

“Subjectivity is a characteristic of subjects and personality a characteristic of the person. Instead of considering them to be predicates of their subjects, Hegel makes the predicates independent and then lets them be subsequently and mysteriously converted into their subjects.

“The existence of the predicate is the subject; thus, the subject is the existence of subjectivity, etc. Hegel makes the predicates, the object, independent, but independent as separated from their real independence, their subject. Subsequently, and because of this, the real subject appears to be the result; whereas one has to start from the real subject and examine its objectification. The mystical substance becomes the real subject and the real subject appears to be something else, namely a moment of the mystical substance. Precisely because Hegel starts from the predicates of universal determination instead of from the real subject, and because there must be a bearer of this determination, the mystical idea becomes this bearer.

  • Is going to university in London distracting?

I'm close to applying for university and I really want to study in London in particular. I'm in love with the city and when i mentioned that to my parents they weren't that convinced.

They told me that it would be too distracting. They mentioned the night life, noise, shops and how there is always somewhere to walk and wonder off to. My marks are not bad at all and It's not that I'm usually distracted but I think that they want to make sure I make the most out of my education.

My love London and can't imagine me going anywhere else. Is it really THAT distracting that I should reconsider?
