So I know that water is evaporated from plants and all about transpiration, capillary action etc.

But, when you add food coloring to the water, how come it stays in the petals of the plants? How come (scientifically) it doesn't evaporate with the water?

((Does it have to do with size of molecules or something?))

so i want to have a sweet 16 but my birthday is in the winter & i'm not sure what to do. my house is pretty small so that's out of the question..
