  • Cutting my hair short? Opinions please!?

Hi there. So I have been planning to cut my hair short (above the shoulders) for a VERY LONG TIME. The reason I haven't is that my mom dislikes short hair and many of my friends have asked me not to. I never had short hair (except maybe when I was 6?). I just want to try it out.

Here is a picture of my current hair:

My hair is obviously quite long. I have no bangs or layers. I want to cut it at least above my shoulders. Not a pixie cut (or I think my mom would go crazy haha). I was thinking about cutting it like this:

Also, my hair could NEVER curl. I have the typical asian hair. So, I thought if i chopped off my hair, it would be easier (less weight) so it might look like this:

Another way I might want to cut it is where it is longer in the front, and shorter in the back. (Could not find a good picture).

Now, I am sorry this is so long, but please opinions would be great! Should I keep my long hair, or cut it? And, tips on layers and bangs would be wonderful too. I am kind of scared of how it would look, but hair always grows back right?....

AND, if you have any other short styles that you would think would suit me, please post a link!

Thank you for your time [:

  • What laptop should I get?

hey hey people! ya so im going to be a freshman this coming school year and I need a new laptop. Currently, my Sony Vaio died. :((

Anyway, suggestions would be really nice! I don't want another Sony or HP preferably, but I'm open. Nothing too expensive please. Less than $800 would be great, but I don't mind going over a little bit.

So this is what I need:

    1. It needs to last me through my high school years at the LEAST.

    2. It will be used everyday, so it shouldn't be too slow.

    3. I will be using it for word documents, messenger, internet related, and some video-editing.

    4. Lots of space please. I will be saving a ton of music and pictures.

    5. I prefer it to be 15 inches. Nothing too small like a netbook.

yup. thank you for all answers!
