  • Ebay seller problem...?

    So yesterday I won a bid on a pretty good item. I was so happy I was jumping around the house with joy because i was getting a really good bargain on it. 36 bucks with free shipping and that's much cheaper then most used ones and new ones go for around $150. Now this was a new seller... only had 5 positive feedbacks on how good of a buyer they were. I know its better to buy from from sellers with alot of positive feedback and sold other items but since i was the only one bidding i thought i had a good chance of winning with very low selling price.

    **So i did in fact win and i was about to pay until i saw a message from the seller in my inbox. It stated that he/she was sorry but cant send the item out right now because of a family emergency. Told me i could either cancel my order or wait 2 weeks or so until they get back home to send it.**

    I wanted to punch the seller in his/her face so hard after i read that. I don't really believe that story too much, I have a feeling they just want more money outta it because they usually sell for alot more then what i was going to get it for. Plus if they had a family emergency and was able to contact me 5 mins after the bidding ended they could have stopped the auction either during that day. Though i was upset i responded very calmly and said it was ok and i havent payed for it yet.

    Just left a neutral feedback a few mins ago but since it's still waiting to be payed and i have no intentions on doing so what do i suppose to do about the item? Should i tell report him/her to ebay?

    I never had this problem before so im a little lost what what i suppose to do now.

  • Did i pick this out correctly?

    Hey everyone! My laptop screen had cracked around 2 years ago and i'm finally ready to get a new one (starting to miss the thing now). Well, i'm not too good with the whole computer hardware thing so i'm not too sure if i actually picked out the correct screen replacement. Came on here to make sure i got the right one before i end up buying it.

    ~my laptop specs-> http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&...

    ~the screen i want to buy-> http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-COMPAQ-PRESARIO-CQ50-2...

    So did i choose the correct screen?
