  • Did you get drunk when you were a teen?

I don't really understand teen drinking culture, because teens around here don't get drunk that often. I've been trying to do research about it, but I can only find preachy stories and statistics, which don't help.

If teen drinking is the norm where you live, could you share some of your stories and explain why you drank as a teen?

  • Reoccuring dreams about a home invasion?

For about a year, I've been getting dreams involving someone trying to get into my house. Sometimes it's a person, sometimes it's a group of people, and sometimes it's an animal trying to get in. I always try to fend them off and they don't get inside, but the threat is always hanging over me until I wake up. I don't know what it could mean because we've never had an intruder in the house before. I've had about six dreams with this theme. What could it mean?

  • Why do certain people stick out in my mind?

Does this happen to anyone else? There are certain people that I can't stop thinking about once I see them, and I start to care about them and feel concerned for them like we know each other. I get the feeling that something is going to happen to them and I don't understand why.

  • Why do I have high insulin levels and normal glucose?

I went to get my blood tested last year and everything was normal, except my blood sugar was low, so this year my doctor told me to take them again and not fast this time. So I went to take my blood test again this year and I didn't fast, and I had normal glucose levels. However, my insulin levels were very high. I had glucose levels of 95 and insulin levels of 92.

When I looked this up on the internet, I was only able to find conditions for patients who have taken a fasting blood test. I couldn't find a normal range for people who haven't fasted. But it seems like the problem is that when I don't eat, I have low blood sugar and normal insulin, but when I do eat, I have normal blood sugar and high insulin. What could this mean? Should I be concerned about this?

  • My headphones suddenly don't work?

My headphones were working fine for months, now suddenly whenever I plug them in they only work for a few minutes and then they switch to the speakers. I have already tried setting them to default and I still have the same problem. Is there a problem with my headphones or the computer?

  • How do Asians get so good at English?

I live in America, and I've noticed a pattern about all the foreign people who come to my school: the foreign people from Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand are able to pick up the American accent pretty quickly, while people from other countries usually still have a pretty noticeable accent no matter how long they've been at my school. This leads me to think that maybe it's a cultural thing and they learn English a different way that's more effective. If this is true, please let me know because I'm genuinely curious!
