My son will graduate high school in 2 weeks. Our plan had always been to get him a used car as a 18th birthday/graduation gift. My husband hasn't worked in a year due to an injury so, all our money goes on bills. I feel really bad that we are unable to do anything big for him.

I need some ideas on a nice gift that is reasonable.

I went out to eat yesterday & saw about 4 *BIG* women in spandex pants. I can't imagine putting a pair on & saying to myself....Damn, you look good! The 80's is over......throw them away!!!

I laugh every time I hear it. The Lawyer say's...Have you or a loved one died while taking this drug? If so. your entitled to a law suit. If you died while taking the drug, do you file a claim from beyond the grave?

When she was born she had Down Syndrome & as she has gotten older it's like the writers forgot to write that fact in. Did they think we wouldn't notice?

I end up turning the show off every day because I can't figure out what they are saying because, Elisabeth can't keep her mouth shut for 2 seconds so someone else can talk. She talkes over everyone. Even guest!!! Am I the only one who wishes she would either shut up or Get fired???

Every time I go to answer a question I get told they are taking a breather. And then when I get pissed and give up trying to post, I find out that what I'm trying to post has actually posted even tho they claim to be on a break & then not all of the posting is showing up, just like the first 2-3 words. Has this happened to anyone else?

Which is better? I have dish & am getting sick of it loosing signal not to mention I don't even have premium channels & it cost me $130 something a month. Is Comcast any better? I know w/ the old cable if it rained the cable would be out for days, but this is digital.

I just would like some opinions before I make up my mind to switch.

Last Tuesday I had septoplasty, turbinant reduction & rinoplasty to correct a deviated septum & damage from a broken nose. I still have splints in my nose & am 100% blocked. I can't breathe at all w/ the splints & can only breathe a few seconds after irrigation. I am so sleep deprived it's not funny. Has anyone had this surgery done? How did you cope w/ not being able to breathe? I feel like I'm drowning = (

Why are people so reluctant to donate?

My family has a hereditary kidney disease. My Mom and Aunt were both fortunate enough to have transplants but, died several years later. I am very greatful to the family that donated so I could have a few more years with my mom. everyone in my family is donors because, you just never know when you might need the favor returned. So, If your a doner....thank you for saving a life. If your not....why not?

My man Richie Sambora got himself into trouble.

He has had a very tough year and my heart does go out to him but, he should know better than to drink and drive.

I would normally say throw the book at someone who drinks and drives but, I just can't bring myself to say that this time.

I think he needs more rehab than a week. You can't get cured in a week. Anyway, what do ya'all think about this matter???

I come from a long line of alcoholics so yes, I do know you can't be cured. But he has to want it himself to stay clean. Him having kids in the car is what upset me also. I do pray he gets the help he needs I couldn't imagine Bon Jovi w/o him. Let's all send him a cheer up card : )
