I have melanoma carsinoma, my dr. says. He is trying to get rid of it by using liquid nitrogen to freeze it off. He did this a couple of months ago, and it grew back. He used the 'hot ice' again, this week.

2 AnswersInfectious Diseases1 decade agoMedicare helps pay for oxygen concentrator for only 36 months?
I am 65 yrs old, on oxygen 24/7. I just read that Medicare only helps to pay for the oxygen generator for 36 months. It costs over $600 a month to rent. How can this be logical? You get 3 yrs to live? What is the idea, here? I'd really like to understand this, before 36 months are up.

1 AnswerGenealogy1 decade agoDoes Rimadyl for 5 # dogs have a human equivalent?
I have a small dog, 5#. Because she is crippled (since birth), the vet sells me Rimadyl for her to take each day. The vet is far from my home, and I am not able to drive that far, as I am ill. I wondered if there is anything else that I could give her.
4 AnswersDogs1 decade agoKidney failure always comes when COPD is present?
I asked this question before, but, the only answer I received was that one nurse doesn't seem to like people with COPD. I'm not a controlling person with a bad attitude, I have a cheery attitude and have spent my life helping children, for free. So, can anyone tell me the link between these two problems?

4 AnswersDiabetes1 decade agoRe: The recent birth of eight babies?
I am worried about those little ones, as well as the 6 children this woman has home, already. First, she wouldn't accept the sorely needed help in caring for the last 8, and she wanted to be on a reality show. Her mother says this woman was totally obsessed with having lots and lots of children, since she was a child. I am so glad that the caretakers have gone to be at home with the children. I do fear that this mother may snap........leading to dangerous outcomes for the babies. Mothers with twins know that having 2 at once, with a husband to help care for the babies, is a real challenge. This mother wants notoriety, not motherhood, in my opinion. Her child-like idea of what it would be like to have 'lots' and 'lots' of children around scares me, when I think of her being smacked so hard with sudden reality. I fear for the babies when she is alone with them. Does anyone else feel this way?
