I got a new steamer. so far it says cook veggies, eggs, meats, rice. What other things can you put in it, and for about how long do you steam them? Like has anyone added cranberries to their recipe, did they cook well? Or dried beans? Canned peaches? or fresh Apples?

I was reading the USA today and Texting Money to the relief funds seems to be a popular thing, but the cell phone companies won't release the money until the cell phone bills are paid - which means at least 30 days until the billing cycle is over, then 60 days until the payables contribute money to the funds - is there anyone regulating such "fund raising"? Is there any education to consumer to let them know, not only are they charged text messaging fees but the money may not reach the victims in a timely manner?

What is the worst advice from your own mother you've received?

7 yrs post op, and experiencing neuropathy that has progressed from feet up to arms to lips and forhead. Iron levels are fine, B12 levels are within range, D levels are very low but trying to get them up. What else could cause the malabsorbion neuropathy?

My family member has a lump on the pancreas. They say that they will have to slice a big part of the absoman open to work on a pea sized lump on the pancreas. Why isn't this laproscopically done? Does anyone know of anyone getting a laproscopic pancreas surgery?

We're selling our house. We have the option of staging it, or emptying it out completely and selling it. It's a modest size home 1700 sq ft, so it's not tiny but it's not huge either. Are you more likely to buy a home that you've seen "move in ready" or setup to feel like a home?

My family and I are spending some time abroad this upcoming year and taking cobra from my old employer. If you have insurance coverage outside of the US will that qualify as a qualified plan when returning to work in the US and attaining coverage in the US?

I'd really like to drop the $1500 cobra payments for family coverage, for a local or international plan, then when we return to the US and return to work return to US group coverage (w/o having huge pre-existing clauses/exclusions). (At present we're self employed).

Also - does anyone have any suggestions for insurances/coverage outside the US, specifically Mexico? (we don't need emergency coverage).

PS - I don't qualify for individual plans per my medical conditions, I'm pretty sure.
