I work in a college library and every summer my boss reduces my work hours. When I asked her why she does it her explanation was “You don’t work many hours in regular semester so it’s not fair for those of who work more hours in regular semester and they have to share their work hours with you during the summer” meaning she doesn’t want to reduce other employees hours, but mine.
