I am getting ready to marry my soul-mate. We both have been married b4 and have both been divorced now for 6 years. We really clicked and are in love. I have one daughter from previous marriage and he has 2 daughters from previous marriage. They are wonderful girls and they all get along great. We hope that one day we will have his girls living with us soon but for now they live with their Mommy.

Here is the issue.. my fiancee was convicted of a felony and was in jail for two years. Prior to that since his girls were little he had full custody of the girls and has always been a GREAT Father. But since the jail conviction the girls had been with their mother and now she is demanding child support for the two years he was in prison. Which put him arrears for over $7000... HE HAS NO PROBLEM paying.. he is a great Father. However, my question is.. Can the Mother of his girls now come after me for my money?

What can I do to make sure I keep my money from going to her?

I know not everyone is like this. But I am so shocked at how certain people feel that they are entitled to everything. As if someone owed them something. I just wish I could just ask one time "Who do they think they are?" Where does it come from parents? tv? society?

I feel that we make our own success by the energy we put towards life itself. If I want a job I get off my butt and get one. If I want love, I open my heart for Love. If I want respect, I give respect. If I want a new pair of shoes, I BUY THEM. List goes on and on..

You know how Society enforces the rule that Men have to be so Macho and not emotional. But do you think that Men really are more emotional than women but just don't show it? Do Men really love harder then Women?

I have been having a horrible time keeping my blood sugar down. So, my Dr. just put me on Lantus insulin on Wed. 20units at bedtime. But my Blood sugar is still really high 300's. So I think that the dose will keep going up.

Problem is I have heard that you gain weight on insulin. For those of you using insulin are you having trouble keeping your weight down? If so what do you do to maintain. And are you constantly having to modify your intake due to change in diet and exercise?

Would anyone know of a good Liver Detox or Cleanse that you would recommend. I have been surfing the web and have gone to my Natural Food store and they have some but I really want to hear from someone that has actually completed a cleanse and how you felt during and afterwords.

BTW - I have a bad liver due to a birth defect of my GI track and I keep getting Cholangitis which is a Liver infection in the Bile ducts. Oh and I have had a Whipple procedure done in '01 which removed the function in my Common Bile duct to keep bacteria from entering from the small intestine.. gross huh.

Anyway I am going all Natural, Organic, no perfumes, no drinking etc. and want to detox my liver at least twice a year.

Any suggestions??

I just got this ad in the mail yesterday about a mini gastric bypass without surgery. It is the pill you take that expands in your stomach and allows you to feel full so you don't eat. Has anyone heard of this or has anyone tried this and does it work?

So, my bf had relations with his baby mama while we split about two yrs ago. (he swears). The way we split was a bit harsh. We had just moved in together for the 2nd time into a house. Things were rocky and he said some things that really hurt my feelings. Instead of talking to him about it I wrote him a letter and told him that he and his two kids had to move out. I gave him some time to leave but one day all He!! broke out and he stormed out. It was pretty nasty. So he tells me now that he didn't think I wanted him anymore and never thought we would be back together. I feel bad about what happened and I didn't think we would be back together either. But, it just kills me that he went to his baby mama. Even though we were broken up I can't shake the feeling that their is this connection with them. He says no but I really need some outside help here. What do u think, would you be able to trust your mate after they had gone back to an ex durring a split? Would u marry him?
