4 AnswersBaseball8 years agoOver or under 50%, Miami wins the championship and 3 peats?
What do you guys think about their chance of 3 peating? I'd say under 50% because teams like Indiana(more experience now and Granger returning) and New Jersey got better and i think either one of those teams would take Miami to 7 games, and I think the Spurs will again take them to 7 if they meet in the finals. Also the fact that they've never had any serious injury problems and have been relatively lucky with their supporting cast showing up.
So over or under 50%?

3 AnswersBaseball8 years agoCould this team win a gold medal?
This is the roster that'll play in the 2014 olympics. No Lebron, no Durant, no Kobe, no big names. Obviously that'll change by the 2016 olympics but say this was the team representing the US in 2016, could they beat a Spain led by Marc and Pau Gasol or a Argentina?
Probable roster:
PG: , Kyrie Irving, Damien Lillard, John Wall
SG: Paul George, Klay Thompson, Kemba Walker
SF: Kawhi Leonard, Bradley Beal
PF: Kenneth Faried, Derrick Favors
C: DeMarcus Cousins, Andre Drummond
Theres other PG's like Ty Lawson, Mike Conley and Jrue Holliday but i doubt their gonna carry 7 PG's on the team.
Anyways, could that team beat a Spain team with players like Ricky Rubio and the Gasol brothers?
5 AnswersBasketball8 years agoEven if Miami won it all this year, would you trade Wade and Bosh either way?
First off i hate Miami, but i think in 2014 (when Lebron becomes a free agent), It'll be tough for them to convince him to come back because Wade will be 33 (and most likely not a 20 PPG scorer anymore), and Bosh doesn't seem like a legit 1-2 punch to help Lebron win a title.
My question is, to all you Miami fans, would you want to trade Wade and Bosh and try to clear cap space to sign a superstar to pair with Lebron, or would you trade them away to get young talent, or try to get another superstar in his prime to play with Lebron?
These are just some random trades i thought of, yeah there kinda wack, didn't compare salary, but would you do any of them?
Trade 1: Bosh for Gasol. Gives Lakers a good player in his prime, Miami gets a good player with 20 million dollars clearing next year.
Trade 2: Wade,Bosh and Mike Miller for Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph and Tony Allen.
Memphis gets offense and a lineup of Conley, Wade, Prince, Bosh, find a center
Miami gets bigger and better defensively: Chalmers, Tony or Ray Allen, Lebron, Randolph, Gasol
Trade 3: Wade and Bosh for Josh Smith(sign n trade) and Al Horford
ATL lineup: Jeff Teague, Wade, Korver, Bosh, Pachulia
Miami: Chalmers, Ray Allen, Lebron, Smith, Horford
Trade 4: Bosh, Chalmers and Mike Miller for Demarcus Cousins and Tyreke Evans
Miami lineup: Tyreke Evans, Wade, Lebron, Haslem, Cousins
Any of those would help Miami if it could happen?
2 AnswersBasketball8 years agoWhy is Lebron James not clutch ?
I am NOT HATING on Lebron. Hes the BEST player in the NBA.
But how come to me always in late games, Lebron either passes away the ball or misses bad jumpers. It almost seems at times he dissapears late in games, whereas players like Durant or Kobe would almost always be the key to their team scoring.
Anybody got a logical explanation for this?
9 AnswersBasketball8 years agoWhat's to blame for all the Lakers injuries this year?
Nash missed games, Kobes out, MWP missed games, Gasol missed games, D12 missed games, Steve Blake missed games, Meeks missed games, Jordan Hill is out the whole year.
Pretty much their whole original 8 out of 9 man rotation has been out for the year, or been out, had surgery, is gonna have surgery.
I've watched the lakers for like 15 years and i've never seen more than like 3-4 players hurt in a year, and we got like 10 this year.
Do you blame Dantoni for his system and over playing players? Or do you blame bad luck?
8 AnswersBasketball8 years agoWhat's gonna happen to Pierce and KG after this season?
I was looking at rumor sites, and i saw literally every possibility for these 2.
I heard amnesty Pierce and his contract.
Trade Pierce and KG together to a low salary cap team to relieve cap room.
KG is gonna retire, and Pierce will have his contract bought out.
What do you guys thinks gonna happen ?
5 AnswersBasketball8 years agoIs Steph Curry elite ?
If it wern't for his injury proneness, i would put Curry as an elite PG, the same category as Tony Parker, Deron Williams, Cp3 and etc. would you guys say hes elite or a tier down ?
4 AnswersBasketball8 years agoWhat's next for the Lakers ? (next season)?
What do the Lakers have to do to compete next season, or at least be the most competitive that they can be? Real answers please, we know Lebron and CP3 aren't going to be a Laker next year.
I got a couple of ideas, do you guys agree and think any of them would make LA better? Of course resigning D12 is the priority, but what after that?
Try to trade Pau Gasol and his wanted expiring contract for a more younger athletic small/power forward and a backup shooter (kinda like getting players like Jeff Green and Kyle Korver)
Trade Steve Nash for a 1st round pick and draft a quick PG to back up Steve Blake (make Blake the starter)
Or fire Dantoni and get another coach and try to win with this same nucleus of players (Nash, KB, P16, D12)?
So blow up the team, or try to go at it again next year with probably a couple better role players ?
3 AnswersBasketball8 years agoWill Tampa Bay make the playoffs next season? Their record?
Are the Bucs a playoff team next season? I got them 10-6 making the 6th wild card spot. What do you guys think ?
