I have two dogs, a 5 y/o, high energy border collie, and a 12 y/o german shepard/basset mix.

I commute an hour to work and back, and work an 8 hr shift, so they will be alone for at least 10 hrs.

Normally, my boyfriend comes home for lunch and then is home by 4pm, so they are not stuck in the house, but he is out of town right now.

The problem is, they don't play with toys, they don't like kongs, or puzzles, and I have no idea how to keep them from getting so bored!

I feel awful that they are stuck inside for so long with nothing to do, and I know how bad it is for them.

Any positive advice is welcome,

Today I was rolling down my window, and it got stuck, now won't roll back up.

I know it's not electrical because I fooled around with it and it went up, but got stuck again.

Do I take it to an auto body shop? Or the dealership service center? I have zero knowledge of cars..

Also, what would be an average price to expect to fix this?

I want to get a piercing at the top of my ear, in the cartilage. However, I know that I will not always want it there, and I'm concerned with what the hole will look like years in the future, after I decide to take it out permanently.

Will there be a bump? Will it the hole be very noticeable? My ear lobes have never closed, no matter how long I keep earrings out of them, is cartilage different? Will the hole eventually close when I no longer want the earring?

I'm thinking about getting my nose pierced. However one day I hope to be working in a business environment where it would not be appropriate to have one. If a few years down the road I decide I no longer want the piercing and take it out will it leave a bad scar? or bump, or any sign of deformation?

Also, if you have gotten a nose piercing before, any advice on getting one, like is it going to hurt? the aftercare, is it expensive? is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

We just got a dog, whose previous owners are getting a divorce, is a 6 year old dachshund and since day one he has become overly attached to my mom. It's gotten to the point where she can't stand it anymore. He follows her every move, he wines constantly if she leaves the room, he has to have eyes on her. It's bad, and we're not sure how to stop this behavior, because if it doesn't stop we'll have to find another home for him, and it's only been three days.

Today at work grease from a fryer splashed my hand and burned it badly from the knuckle on my index finger to almost my thumb joint. It has two blisters and is very red. From what I've read on the internet keeping antibiotic on it and covering in with gauze is the treatment.

But I can't find out how long it may take to heal, what happens if I don't keep it covered? Will warm water make it worse? it's on my right hand, which is the hand I use most, will all the movement slow the healing? Will it scar?

Don't know the sex yet, but thinking about girls names. We want to name her after our mothers/grandmothers as this will (as of now) be our last child. So here's a breakdown of where the names come from:

Elizabeth= My mothers middle name

Jane=Husband's mother's middle name

Karen=Husband's Mom's name

Lucy=Husband's Grandmothers name

I am currently thinking about getting my second tattoo, I'm like in the very beginning of this process, so I may be on here asking a lot. My first one I got for two main reasons, the biggest being that it is the trademark, or version of it, of my favorite singer (which is putting it mildly). Anyway I want to get another one, but I have so many ideas running through my head about what I should get, and I'm sure there's so many ideas out there that I haven't thought of that I would love, which is why I'm here.

At first I thought of getting this persons signature below my current tattoo, but I've been over thinking that one too much to think it's a good idea anymore.

Then I thought about adding an image to my tattoo, of another signature item from this artists music, but I'm afraid that it would make my tattoo look too much like a SCENE not an IMAGE, which I don't want happening.

Then I thought about a sparrow on my foot with a favorite lyric or title around it, but sparrows are so common.

Then I saw a banner with a song title in it, and thought that was cute, but I'm still not sold.

The most drastic thing I thought of was a portrait of this singer, on the same ankle as my tattoo, keeping it small, like no bigger than my palm, and of only the head and shoulders.

ANYWAY.. I know I've been going on forever, but like I said, way to many ideas, and I would really like your opinions and suggestions for different ideas. THANKS!!

We've decided on the name Benjamin if it's a boy, but the middle name is a little more difficult.

At first I wanted to use both my grandfather and my husband's fathers names, but I'm not sure how I feel about using two middle names. But then I came across another name that has the same meaning as my husbands name that I really like.

My 3 year old son has always slept through the night fine since getting out of infancy, and only once or twice has he woken up in the middle of the night because of nightmares.

But over the last few weeks it's happening a few times a week. It makes me nervous to think that he can't sleep and I would really like to find a way to stop this. My husband and I have done everything we can think of, putting a nightlight in his room, having him sleep with us, putting him in his sister's room so he's not alone, but nothing seems to be working.

Is it normal for these nightmares to just start? I've got three older girls and this didn't happen to them. Also, any other ideas on how to make them stop are greatly appreciated.

We're looking for a baby boy name that is both a traditional/ family name and yet still has our own personality in it. We don't know the sex yet, but if it is a girl we have the name Lucy picked, (unsure about middle name). But that's farther than we've gotten with the boy name. Though we do want to use a family name for the middle name for both.

At first we both loved Benjamin, but now that I think about it more, I don't want to give him such a common name. Though I still like it. Point being...We're stuck.

Ok, kinda bored.

So I'm a major Kenny Fan, Like a bit obsessive. Ok, a lot obsessive.

I've got a Kenny tattoo, decorated my house and car with him all over, I've had birthday parties where he is the theme...yeah a lot crazy.

and it's really hard for me to find people around me who also like him, but I know he's got millions of fans. Maybe it's b/c I don't live in a big Country Music fan population.

Any fans out there. It's like an addiction fix, you need to talk to others who love Kenny.

Like I said, just bored and wanting to know. I also found alot of questions about Kenny which I can answer. Any of those? lol.

I'm leaving for college this fall. High School graduation is around the corner and the thought of leaving is starting to kick in and I'm getting scared. I'm excited, but my school is over 2 thousand miles away from home.

What can I expect at college? Any advice? How will I get over the fear that I'm going to go and fail within the first few months.

Also, any stuff that I need to know about college, from classes to shared bathrooms?!
