Loving my life!!!

I have been on 80 mg of steroids for Crohns disease and am tapering off...I am now down to 10mg but when i went down to 10mg yesterday i started to feel like i got into a fight and was bruised all over...My body is really achy and swollen and my face, neck, chest and back have been breakin out since being on this prednisone.

How long will i feel like this for?? I also get hot flashes and sweat a lot especially at night...

I am embarrased about how i look right now because my face and everything is really broken out and i look swollen and of course thanksgiving in thursday and i will be around a ton of my husbands family...Im not looking forward to this but wanted to know what other people have experienced when coming off prednisone.

its me, my husband and our 17 month old....She has a really pretty deep, purple dress she is going to be wearing and little black shoes....What should me and my husband wear??

Should we do black pants and white shirt?? We are going to have a chirstmas background so i am not sure what we should wear....

We are going on a 4 hour plane ride with our 15 month old and just wanted to get some ideas on what to pack for her both on the plane and for the stay.

For the plane i have:

Diapers

Wipes

Sippy Cup

Extra outfit

Doodle Pro

Paper and the special markers that write on ONLY that paper

Baby doll

2 of her fav toys

cheerios, toddler fruit strips, teddy crackers

Any other suggestions that i am forgetting?

Also, anything helpful to pack in her luggage...we will be staying with my parents and they already bought her diapers and wipes there but anything helpful that i may overlook when packing would be great.

My husband cheated on me 3 months ago with my best friend...I caught him and my supposed to be best friend in the pool with her legs wrapped around him and them making out....After taking a few days away from him and him making it known he was sorry for it i decided we could try to work it out. I told him that we needed to seek counseling though and it would be up to him to set it up to show me he wants to work this out.

Its been 3 months and he hasnt done anything, hasnt set it up or contacted a counseler...We are agruing constantly...he doesnt help out at all with our 14 month old daughter, he is lazy, doesnt care, doesnt ever do anything to show he cares about us, spends countless hours on the computer and if we bother him all hell breaks loose, i never get time to myself...Its just beating me down. I honestly feel i would be better off with just me and my daughter and he can see her when he decides to get his head out of his ***. I do everything, take care of our daughter, cook, clean, run errands, work full time and everything. I was given a few massage gift certificates for my birthday 5 months ago and have yet to be able to use them.

What would you do if you were in my shoes? I also have a cronic illness that i battle and getting stressed out by our arguements always makes me get sick.

My daughter is an only child so far...She is 15 months old...She plays with children outside of day care and never tries to bite, she doesnt bite me or my husband, but when she goes to day care she bites about twice a day.

I need to know what to do on my end to make this stop or she is going to be kicked out of day care...I dont feel i can discipline her at home for this because it happens there and not at home so she wouldnt understand....I send her to day care every day with a teething ring.

The school just called and the Asst Principal was watching in on her today to see what is provoking her to bite and she said that she is playing fine but as soon as the teacher gets up to change a babies diaper or something she just reaches over and bites another child and today she drew blood.

Im at my witts end i dont know what else to do! Does anyone have any suggestions???

That guy is so out of line...If a stranger EVER laid a hand on my child they would be lucky if was only broken after words. And the lady that took a childs milk shake...She would have been wearing it to say the least....ugh people now a days are so out of line!!

My daughter currently goes to day care close to where i work and while its great to have her sl close i am not satisfied with the treatment there. I pick her up everyday and there are 9 kids with one teacher in the toddler room (daughter is 14 months) and lately her food she is getting there is junk like pop tarts and cheezits and cheetos all the time. I want her to get fruit and veggies everyday and when i look at her sheet its always junk through the day and she is there all day.

Anyway, She loves the kids she plays with there and i was going to put a card in each of the childrens cubby blocks (more so to the parents) telling them that my daughter's last day of school there is friday and that she will miss the friends she has made there and that if they want to get together for a playdate to give me a call or e-mail me.

Do you think this is ok? Does it sound wierd for me to want to do this for my daughter. She has been with the same kids in her class since she was 8 weeks old.

I have a 14 month old daughter (will be 15 months old next week) and she has for the past week and a half started to bring us her diaper when she goes to the bathroom and needs to be changed (both pee and poop) She also takes her diaper off when she its dirty....

Is it still to early to start potty training her? How/where do i start? I know i need to get her a little potty but any other helpful hints or suggestions would be great!!

How much did they weigh and how tall were they?

I took my daughter for her check up and was told not to turn her car seat around yet because she are changing the laws to where she stays rear facing until she is 2....Problem is she is 30 inches tall and weighs 20 pounds....The straps are tight on her and they have no more give....Should i call and talk to the doc or where can i find the state laws...We live in texas.

We went to my (now ex) best friends house for a get together on a saturday afternoon...around midnight or so i went to lay down (we were staying the night) because i was not feeling well. i told my husband and best friend they could stay out in the pool and i might come back out in a bit. Well a little while later my husband came in to check on me and told me he was coming to bed soon but i heard him go back outside. So i got up and looked outside and didnt see them...I walked around the back patio, didnt see them either...then i went to the pool and behind the HUGE float she was wrapped around him with her legs and arms and he had his arms around her and they were making out. I was furious, grabbed my purse, keys and our daughter(who was sleeping) and left him there and went home.

He has apologized and everything and said he was drunk and it meant nothing and that he doesnt have feelings for her. NOw a few days after this has happened, he is like " i dont get why you are so mad, it was just a kiss" i cant even respond to that. I mean seriously!!!! How much of an *** can you be. Anyway...Would you leave ur husband if you caught him kissing another girl? Would you try to work it out? I am so lost at what to do. We have a 1 year old daughter and have been married almost 3 years.

I caught my husband cheating on me this weekend with my supposed to be best friend. I am totally disgusted and i will never again speak to her but my husband and i have been married almost 3 years and have a 1 year old. I dont want to jump into a divorce but i know that i will be going to stay with my family for a few days. If i decide when i am there i need/want to divorce him, can i file in the state i will be in or do i need to come back to where we live to file. We got married in Guam so there is no option to go where we got married to file. How does this work. Please no ride remarks...I am going through enough.

My daughter has her 1 year check up today and I am not sure what questions i should be asking. What all are they going to do? Just check her height, weight and give shots? Will they check her vision? She has been squinting lately when you are a little further away and it has me worried. Also should she be strictly on table foods or should she still get jar food?

I have a baby girl that will be 8 months old tuesday!

Anyway...I know the doc said she couldnt have anything with meat until 8 months...I have been giving her stage 3 foods except ones with meat and she eats those gerber puffs and yougurt but i wanted to start giving her other things to...i want to get her eating other things....I know she likes all the fruits of the baby jar stage 1, 2 and 3....She eats pretty much anything of those but she always has problems with anything orange such as carrots or squash staying down...she will eat it but throws it back up!

Anyway what things can i start to give her....She still doesnt have any teeth so i am nervous she might choke...

I wanted to liven up my guest bathroom as right now its not really decorated in anything....the tile is a sandy brown and the tub is white as well as the sink but the cabinets are a cherry wood. I want to paint and get a color scheme or a theme going but i have never painted in my life therefore i am nervous,

I got this baby yogurt at the store yesterday and its in a plastic cylinder type container and from shaking it, it sounds really watery....Is this what baby yogurt isl ike or is this something else?

Is this something that is supposed to go in a bottle or is this supposed to be something fed to them from a spoon like when you first start rice cereal really runny for a baby mixed with formula?

I guess when i grabbed it i was thinking it was thick like yogurt. Iddnt pay much attention at the time. But it was with the baby food. so i decdided to try it!

I have a 7 month old baby girl and in the last few days(started Sunday) she is showing no interest in drinking her bottle...She is happy, never cries, eats her stage 2 and 3 foods just fine but only wants to drink like 2-3 ounces at a time then gets rid of the bottle....She has always been a good eater....Then starting yesterday and today she is spitting up everything she is eating, including the solids, but she is not in anyway acting like she doesnt feel good..She is laughing and playing and smiling just like every other day...She used to be on Acid reflux medication but then she started doing better without it and its been like almost 4 weeks since she has been on it...

Do you think its the reflux again?

Should i change her formula?

Do you think its something more?

I have called her doc and am waiting on a call back...she doesnt have a fever and isnt showing any signs of being sick. But she makes me nervous because she acted the same way even when she had this horrible cough that turned out to be bronchitis.

I live in Texas and i am having a really hard time making new friends...We moved into a neighborhood where hardly anyone talks to people, I work somewhere where most of the people are a lot older then me, my husband works for a company where he is based out of home and travels daily to different commercial sites, and i dont know what else to do. Anyone have any suggestions on how to meet friends or anyone live in Texas that would like a new friend??

Im not taking the moving thing to well since i have had the same group of friends since i have 11 (nobody moved and they still live there up north) and i am now 24 so its not like i am in school to meet people
