  • Future Hall of Famers: Which Yankees do you think will make it?

Within 5 years or so, the current Yankee era is almost sure to come to an end. The Yankees have produced a steady stream of Hall of Famers throughout their history. Who do you think will make it from the Yankees of the late 1990s and the 2000s?

There are a few players who are obviously going to make it, but I'm more curious to see what you guys think of the players on the borderline. Do Mussina, Pettitte, and Posada deserve consideration? Could Damon make it?

And a side note: Who do you think will be the next Yankee captain?

  • Hard Drive failed: How do I boot to recover data?

Today my friend slammed his fist down on my laptop right above my hard drive. Needless to say, it immediately froze up. I shut it off and turned it back on but it won't boot. Trying to boot it as normal results in a bluescreen (unmountable boot volume). In safe mode it loads a bunch of drivers and then gets stuck. Running a diagnostic doesn't get me anywhere (instant error #0000: Read verification failed. Disk read errors are bad, I know). At some point I reached a screen while said that all boot methods have failed. It listed the methods and also gave the option of reordering them. From that I gleaned that I'm going to need to boot from a USB or a CD and try and recover any data that I can. My computer is a Lenovo T61 Thinkpad running Windows Vista Business. Can anyone direct me to a site where I can download the correct program to put on my USB? I just want to boot it and see if I can pull some data off of it.

    Thanks.

  • How can I emulate Oblivion on my PC?

One of my friends created an Oblivion emulator for his PC, but won't give me it or tell me how to get it. I know that he downloaded the ISO and coded it to run in a window, but I don't know how he did it. I think he used Visual Basic 2008, but most of the torrent sites I've been to looking for the ISO mention other programs like Daemon Tools. My friend's emulator only runs Oblivion - it doesn't work for just any ROM. What do I need to do to get an emulator like his? Please give me steps/links, since I don't know where to begin.

  • What do you think of the Yahoo! Answers daily participation limits?

Do you think that the daily participations are fair/unfair? How would you change/improve them? Explain.

This question came to me because I was bored and had used all my answers and votes for the day.
