i havent done PT in so long ( long story don't want to discusss it) and i know i won't be able to pass the run for the army APFT. how long will it take for the chapter process to go through?

ok so it turns out there is a possability that i may get reclassed due to failing my first AIT. ( EOD) is there any possability of getting chaptered out of the army instead of going to another mos? what i would like to do is get out of the army and go into air national guard as a fire fighter ( i know i can pass that corse seeing as how i did as a civilian) or medic (again passed as civilian) but i want to make sure i would be able to get a general discharge from the army first. what are my other options?

if they find something during the dental exam after i get to reception, will they fix it then or send me home?

Ok so in order for me to get my MOS i needed to gain a top secret clearance, when i did my interview they brought up a teacher that i did not have (they said it was a mistake) and asked for a new one, so i put down my old government teacher, this was back in november, well i just found out that the teacher was arrested for downloading child pornography just recently, could this be a problem for me, could i lose my security clearance should i be worried or should i call some one to change the referance?

i am due to Ship to BCT april 25th, if the government shuts down would that prevent me from getting shipped to basic training until there is a budget passed (seeing as how all government employees don't work unless it is "mission essential" and that legaly the government can't pay anything during a shut down, would that include transport to the Basic?

Obviously what the Germans did during WW2 was outrageous but are German veterans treated as heros for serving the country, or as criminals that shouldn't be alive? or just flat out forgotten? im not sure if it is really fair considering they were just following orders like American forces do, but hey what do i know.

i ask because Female are not allowed a combat positions (such as infantry SF ect) but they are allowed in EOD which i would think would still be a combat role, how come females can serve in EOD but not infantry?

Also i have no problem with females in EOD i was just curious why this is sort of an exception.
