I have a fear of hiccups. Not the regular hiccups but the ones that never go away, even after weeks, months or even years. And it really happens! It started when my Dad, who is a pilot, told me about this lady he flew that had incurable hiccups, and it started to bother me that it could happen. The recent story of a young girl with the same condition brought back the fear and it has been bothering me for a month now. I don't know why it bothers me so much. Maybe its the fact that it can just start randomly and life is ruined. I don't know what to do. I want to stop worrying!
