It's in the Midwest if that helps. Thanks!
3 AnswersGarden & Landscape5 years agoWhat type of plant is this? And how do I get rid of it? http://imageshack.com/a/img923/1659/dEKu0g.jpg?
The branches are so thick close to the ground I've been using a chainsaw to cut them off. There are tons of them in the woods behind my house. I want to get rid of them and keep them gone. (The branches are a very rough, dry, woody material, if that helps at all.) Thanks!
1 AnswerGarden & Landscape5 years agoWhat do you do when you go significantly over the number of hours you estimated for a graphic design?
I estimated 10 hours based on previous work, but my time tracker says it took 15. Should I work in some sort of discount? I feel like my client is going to think that I intentionally underestimated.
1 AnswerOther - Visual Arts6 years agoIs it better to add something to my personal domain name or change the TLD?
My FirstNameLastName.com domain is taken. Normally I always go with .com because otherwise people will mistakenly type .com anyway.
But in the case of my personal domain name, should I make an exception in order to have the FirstNameLastName.TLD simplicity?
1 AnswerOther - Internet6 years agoIs it better to start with a Pantone color or to find the best match later?
When designing a logo or something else that needs to have consistent color, is it best to find a color to use and then look up the best Pantone match when you need something printed, or to pick a Pantone color first and determine the CMYK and RGB values secondarily?

And does it include a stress mark or any slashes?
2 AnswersLanguages6 years agoOn Ancestry.com is there a way to save actual images of all of the records attached to your family tree without doing it one at a time?
I think they're actual just links to the records right now, but I want to download all of them to my computer.

Is that some kind of antenna on top?
1 AnswerLand Phones7 years agoHow would you write "fight for the weak" in Latin?
It would be like a motto, but I'm not sure what that tense is called.
3 AnswersLanguages7 years agoWhat does the German word Kohlensäure mean?
I've heard that it refers specifically to the bubbles in soda, but when I looked it up it says it just means carbonic acid in general. How is it actually understood?
3 AnswersLanguages7 years agoHow do you find the original press release source of a news article?
Sometimes I read a news story and if I Google a paragraph or so of it I find the same story, almost verbatim, at many news sites, so I know they must be working from the same news release. What is the best way to find the original though? (So that I can use it as a source)
1 AnswerMedia & Journalism7 years agoWill it interfere with my mail delivery to add a company name?
There's always that "Company Name" line when you're filling out address forms online to have something shipped. It's blank and I don't want to waste it so I was thinking I could try to come up with a fun company name to make my UPS driver smile. I figure some people have small businesses at home, so it can't be that unusual. But is this going to lead to me not getting packages?
1 AnswerOther - Business & Finance7 years agoWhere can I find records of Medicaid reimbursements?
I'm working on an investigative report on Medicaid fraud. I've been told that records of medicaid reimbursement are public record but how can I find them? (Obviously not actual patient records, I know those are protected by HIPAA.)
2 AnswersMedia & Journalism7 years agoDoes it make sense for someone to say they were born in Beiern but also Bavaria?
I've been tracing my family back to Germany and my great great great grandfather said on the 1880 US census that he and his parents were born in Beiern, but in another place he wrote "Bavaria / Bayern". But I looked up Beiern and it looks like it's not in Bavaria, it's north of it. Is there an explanation for this or did I make a mistake somewhere in my research?
(PS: Ferdinand isn't my real last name.)
6 AnswersGenealogy7 years agoWhat is the best way to set up 4.1 speakers on Windows 7?
I have an Altec Lansing ADA745 speaker system that came with an old computer. The speakers are good so I want to use them with a newer computer.
It has a sub (combined with an amp I think) with a green and black cable but no orange cable for the sub channel. My computer has 6 outputs. So how can I tell my computer I have 4 speakers and a sub when the there isn't a 4.1 option?
My soundcard has quadraphonic and 5.1, but I'm worried that if I select 5.1 it will send the bass frequencies to the subwoofer output, which has nothing plugged in to it. What is the best way to do this?
Thanks!
1 AnswerOther - Electronics7 years agoI've heard that you should mark valuables with your drivers license number, should you include your name?
Also, my drivers license "number" has a two letter prefix, not the state abbreviation, just seemingly random letters. Is that part of the license number?
2 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police7 years agoCan I stop my roommates from printing to my wifi printer?
I have a printer with very expensive ink and it's connected to our house wifi. I think my roommates will print to it when I'm not home and use up my ink. Is there any way to add a password or something to it? But without forcing it to work through my computer? It's an epson xp-600.
