  • Any tips for helping to heal up a nose piercing more quickly?

I just got my nose pierced two days ago and it's still a little sore. I also managed to bump it a little and cause a small amount of bleeding--nothing I am worried about though. Has anyone done this before and does anyone have any good tips or tricks for helping this heal more quickly?

  • This is a legal question regarding photography. What can I do?

We have an amazingly odd neighbor who has told us that he is video taping our children--not just mine but others in the neighborhood. He hates kids and wants anyone with children thrown out (we live in a community that has home owners rules). He says that he will continue until he has anything to get us thrown out of our home. What we'd like to know is what we can do about this? Can we report him? Is what he is doing even legal? We live in OR but have no idea what the laws are about this. Has anyone else gone through anything like this and what did you do? Quite honestly, we're ready to move!

  • Who is this artist and the name of the paintings?

I was trying to describe these paintings (I think?) to my husband the other day. They are almost nightmarish in quality. But weirdly peaceful--no one seems alarmed by what's occurring. Usually a building of some kind with water and usually fish/sharks/whales flooding in through a door or windows. The colors are pretty bright. The water is always very blue and clear. Can anyone help me out? I'd like to find one online and show hubby what I'm talking about.

They almost look like photographs or 3D style animation. (Like a Pixar still)

It's cute, it's fashionable, it has a sparkly strap-- would you carry a lime green purse? Or is that just too bright for you?

  • Could someone tell me what this is?

Got this at an auction, because I thought it looked cool. :) No idea how to even begin researching it, because I don't know what it is. And there are no distinguishing marks on it. It's a copper coffee pot? about two feet high and 10 in diameter. Has a brass handle with little line etchings around the widest part of the bowl.

Hope this picture link works. Please let me know if it doesn't.

  • You-tube video---can I find an old church play on You-tube?

When I was about 8 (I think) I was in a church play called "Psalty- Heart to Change the World" it would have been in the early 90's or late 80's. I've seen a few on you tube but none of these are me? Our pastors daughter got the role of psalty's pink hymnal daughter, but was not required to be a book. I was the little mexican girl who had to bring "stuff called flan." Were any of you in this same church play, in Salinas, CA at a Calvery Chapel (I think)? Serious Answers please!!!!

  • Poll Regarding family problems?

Do you think that family should be allowed to get away with being rude, interfering, controlling, etc, simply based on the grounds that they are family? And never be told to shut up or to stop?

  • Am I in danger of an Ectopic pregnancy?

I've taken three pregnancy tests that have read negative, and I am over a week late. Also my tubes were tied over 9 months ago. I have none of the "usual symptoms" of ectopic pregnancy other then minor cramping. (Think PMS style cramps) If this isn't an ectopic pregnancy what else could it be? Is there anything else that can cause a period to be delayed?

And yes, I do have an appointment to see my doctor soon.

  • Please help- what is this movie?

There was a movie I saw a couple of years ago. It might have even been a "made for TV" movie. The only details I remember about it: This guy was an author who wrote scary or mystery novels and was extremely successful. Come to find out the inspirations for his books were real women that he was kidnapping and drowning in a lake. It all comes out when he kidnaps one woman who fights back, and he is actually afraid of her. She does end up getting away from her and I think he ends up drowning in the lake. And I think she's dating a police officer?

Could someone please tell me what this movie was named? I remember it being good, but it's been a long time.

  • When was evolution proven by the scientific method?

In order for a hypothesis to become a theory, it must first be validated by the scientific method. Step Two of this method states that a hypothesis must be subjected to many repeatable, verifiable, controlled experiments before it can proceed to steps three, four and five. When did the evolutionary hypothesis ever go through Step Two? To wit: In what controlled environment was pond slime observed to evolve into homo sapiens?

  • Is it really true that you can't wear red to a wedding? What can you wear?

I read recently that it is a huge no-no to wear red to a wedding. Is this true or is it outdated like the not wearing black rule? Help.
