  • What do Dr.s expect patients to do when no medicine is available?

I have had 26 musco-skeletal surgeries, Avascular Necrosis, Tourette's and add.. For many years I took oral pain meds to walk.. This has been since 1997.and was on 200MCG'SF DURAGESIC, 240 30 MG OXYCODONE, 120 40 MG oXYCONTINJ AND 120 ACTIQ 800'S AND 1200'S. I HATED THIS BUT BUILT A TOLERANCE SO......IT WAS PRESCRIBED BY A LEADING NEUROSURGEON AND PHYSIATRIST IN THE COUNTRY.

Then in 2008 a Dr. who used pain pumps for back and had many times told me I would be too high a morphine dose to make worth doing. See other pain meds do not go all the way up back. Then he used me as a guinea pig and used dilaudid with Prialot5 L.T. which is snail venom. It worked great and soon was taking just 240 30mg Oxycodone with pump which only dispensed 10mg'smof hydromorphone and 2.34McG;sof Prialt daily. I have more pain but is much better than being in clouds.

now 2 years ago the oxycodone media blitz started and no pain med which was for severe pain could be found. I tried dilaudid but did nothing and soon was taking Percocet 10mg with Tylenol which is bad.

What should I do as I have put off 3 surgeries due to Avascular Necrosis due to no pain meds when I get home. I never4 got an early script, dr. shopped, or been red flagged. Now I must suffer.

    ANY IDEAS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

p.s. medical M.J. does help but have to wait till November in Fl. but still is not answer. Are people being punished by media, schools and police? + a lot ogf bad Dr.sNasty Pharmacists or would be Dr.?

  • Treating Avascular Necrosis?

I have been diagnosed with this and it stops red blood cells flowing in knee, femur, hip, neck and down other side. No cure. Surgery is to replace femur with cadaver bone, then knee reconstruction , both sides. It slows immune system, stops most nutrient intake and have to take anabolic steroids to not be anemic. Very painful. Has to be treated or gangrene will show. Lost 76 lb.s.

this is besides 28 surgeries. Only 15000 get a year diagnosed as only , say athletes who pass have autopsy and knee injuries were found to cause. basically many knee and hip injuries are misdiagnosed. I have the best Dr.s in country and 28 muscskeletal surgeries from sports were less painful then this and effects life incredibly bad. want Dr. who is familiar.
