I know it's a crazy question but I am being serious & just wondering. Please answer seriously, thanks!

My son was in a car accident last weekend and his right femur was fractured & a rod from hip end of the bone to knee end was placed the next day. He ran a low grade fever of 100 in the hospital but they told us that was normal. He was released yesterday, just four days after accident. He is very sore & having a very rough time moving. It is Friday night & I am taking him to the doctor on Mon but my question is...it is normal for his leg that was fractured to feel hot to the touch? I took his temp & it is normal but his leg feels hotter than the rest of his body. He is 19 years old. We were not given any antibiotics to take home but he had antibiotics after the surgery. Has anyone had experience with this & know if it is normal for it to feel hot? Also, he feels worse today then he did yesterday & is having more trouble moving around. He has vomited every night. He was staples in three different areas.

I recently was involved in an incident & witnessed someone I know get severely beaten by 4 guys that we do not know. The police report is not accurate & because it happened on one of the guys property none of them were charged with any crime. The police report states that his injuries were superficial but after a trip to ER it is documented that he has a fractured leg, fractured facial bones, teeth knocked out & several other minor scrapes & bruises. I saw him get completely knocked unconscience at the first blow & then they all jumped in & continuously beat, kicked & stomped him. No other person was injured & none of them were physically touched in any way. I don't even see how this is possible that they didn't get arrested. My only hope to have evidence to support my side of the story is the 911 call but I was first told there was no record of it, then that I couldn't have it, then when they finally gave me a print out it was only of the time the call was dispatched, length of call, etc. & it had no conversation on it at all. Does anyone know how to get a copy of a 911 tape that has my conversation with the dispatcher? I could really use the help.

about it, have you seen the DVD, & if so what do you think of it? I saw it presented on Oprah. It is said that many of the great leaders of the past & present know & use it. I want to know your experiences with it..

steady job for about a year, hasn't helped with any of the bills at all plus I have to pay if we go out to dinner, movies, etc. In the past he contributed financially & with all chores & has always been very affectionate to me consistantly but I resent him not working. Now my son (18yrs old senior) has had it with my BF & thinks I am being taken advantage of. Yesterday they got into an argument & I told my BF to get out but he has no money, no job, no car, no one local, & none of his family will take him in. He has had problems with drinking & depression in the past also. The sherriff dept here states I can't make him leave without a 30 day notice unless he assaulted me & no physical violence has ever occured between us. Should I take him to a homeless shelter? My son left & said he would not live at home while my BF is still in the house I still care about my BF & his well being but can't put up with this...I care about my son more. Any suggestions?

My immediate supervisor & one of my coworkers are like best friends & recently that coworker has been gossiping about other employee's having overtime & she doesn't see how they should have it & so on. She knows what time they clock in & out & even knows things about our reviews such as when we are scheduled to have them & such. This particular employee is always in the supervisor's office or vice versa & when they are in the cowokers office they are always gossiping & whispering. Isn't this behavior out of line for a boss? & I'm hoping someone can tell me if she is allowed to share this personal info with the other staff member. I feel it is not appropriate behavior but don't want to be the one to report this because I don't think it will matter & I will only become the target of the gossip. This is an office with 12 female employees & two male (the males are not involved) & we have other offices but are in different cities. It keeps getting worse. Help! What to do?

one of them is not latching on to eat. The mom seems to be rejecting it. I am worried because my vet is on vacation 'til tomorrow.....I called other vets in town & because I've never been there they can't get me in today. Does anyone know something I can do to get it to nurse? I'm terrified that it is so young it might not last threw the night 'til my appt. in the morning (24 hrs away). This is her first litter, she has 10 pups, she was a rescue dog but since we last had her checked she was in good health, negitive blood test for any worms, I had an ultrasound on her during pregnancy & the delivery went fine. We have appt. for 10 am tomorrow for the mom & pups to be checked. Any suggestions what I can do or am I overreacting? Please help!!

going on? I am fairly new to yahoo answers & just recently answered a question about someone thinking of aborting her baby. I saw several answers saying she was a fake, troll, something was said about a real bad type of porn....anyway my question is....besides some of the obvious silly questions, how do you know that she or anyone is asking a fake question when it seems to be such a serious subject? I don't want to share anything with people that are here for the wrong reasons & how do you know if they have multiple profiles? I don't mind the funny, joking questions even if they are nonsense but I could tell this person really ticked off lots of people of & I want to avoid putting thought into helping someone with a problem when they are bogus. Thanks!!

.... anyone has delivered this breed of pups & if you are familiar with any common complications associated with this breed. My female is starting stage 1 of labor & the vet says she is okay but I'd like input from anyone who owns this breed & has first hand experience with whelping the pups & if any assistance was needed. She is approx 2 yrs old., this is her first litter, she is in excellent health & the ultrasound we had early in her pregnancy indicated approx 6 pups. I have been familiar with all the emergency signs & am prepared to take her to the vet if needed but just looking for comments from people who have gone through this experience.

I recently rescued a dog that was neglected & abused. We took him to the vet & he was diagnosed with heartworms & other problems. I have treated him for everything but he has the existing worms & treatment I'm told is dangerous and very expensive. I am hoping someone has info & a remedy or meds I can order online that are safe & effective. My family has taken in several unwanted dogs & try to provide a good home where they won't be abused anymore & we would appreciate input on alternative treatments than what our vets here have to offer. They suggested two injections over a couple of days with observation as he could possibly die when the worms dislodge & try to pass like an emboli causing a stroke. I have heard of a product called HWF (heartworm free) but I don't know how effective it really is or safe? Please help.
