Magic Stink

i never ask questions on here so please take this seriously as i will respect your answers. i have an old friend from around 20 years, we have done pretty much everything together over the years. but we have grown apart in the last 5 years or so and although we still greet each other with respect etc things can be a little awkward as we know what we have both done in the past.

no problem with the situation except my friend is now very successfull and now worth at least £1mill. i on the other hand am not as successfull.

I have no issue with his worth and he has no issue with my lack of worth, but he has invited me to the christening of his first born son and i would like to get a present that although may not be worth a lot of money but i would like it to be memorable. i am looking to spend no more than £100 but i could for the correct present.

only thing i can come up with is a photo shoot ( i have a pro photographer friend ) any other really good ideas would be appreciated.

here is the full story, i own a Limited Company, this company is about £5000 over its overdraft limit and is struggling. One of my last customers has sent me a payment cheque (made out to the company name) for £4500, out of this cheque i need to pay one of my suppliers £3500 leaving £1000 to start recovering my overdraft.

Problem i have is if i pay it into the bank it will be used to pay the overdraft but i will not be able to pay my supplier. this will result in my legs being broken. So how can i cash this cheque?

I cant approach my supplier to change the cheque to another name as he is a very good customer and the only thing keeping me going and if i look even slightly dodgy he will drop me.

I have tried Cash Converters and they have refused as the cheque is for a limited company and its to do with money laundering.

I have also tried opening another bank account in a different bank in the company name, due to my credit rating i couldn't do it.

Any help would be appreciated

I have had three answers deleted now, two for making tounge in cheek insults towards the French and the American people. i accept the French and American people might have been offended so i understand that people do over react and report these things. but the third answer was making a remark about how i thought Victoria Beckham was miserable and i wouldn't want to have sex with her. this question was deleted but i really dont understand why it got reported in the first place. unless Victoria or David themselves complained, but surely hes too busy looking at losing footballers and shes too busy buying new sunglasses to be on here.

Anyway, at what point does a question become offensive? and are there too many people on here with nothing better to do than complain about other peoples opinions?

I dont ask many questions so when i do i think it important that the question is worthy.

James Corden, what is the appeal? why is he everywhere i look? what is funny about him? tell me one joke he has ever said apart from im a fat......

He is the most evidence i have for the existance of Satan as if he hadnt sold his soul he would be dead.

Someone tell me what is funny about him apart from he was quite obviously bullied as a child because he had nothing to offer anyone and used his fat belly as an excuse to put the bullies off, i dont find this funny, i find it sad that he is everywhere i look.

I had a dream where i was going somewhere ( nowhere i remember ) whilst there on the stairs i met an old work friends wife who was pleased to see me ( we conducted normal chit chat ) then i told her i had to leave so i started down the stairs where i met her husband who again was very pleasant, he then told his wife how three of her friends had just died in a car crash but her sister was not hurt, i carried on out of the bulding where i was just about to get into a car when my work friend and his wife started calling me from the entrance to a building, when i looked the wife dived into a large pool of water which was convienently just outside the building ( about 1 ft deep) she the got out of the water and produced brown grass etc from her blouse and told me everything was ok.

At this point i got into a car and started to drive off but almost immediatley i stopped to pick up another old workmate who asked me to give him a lift about 10 miles out of my route. i agreed and started to drive over a flyover (which doesn't exist) to get him to where he wanted to go, as we were going up the flyover the sky started to turn black and red with swirling red clouds (if you have seen flash gordon movie like that) i said to Chris (my passenger) it looked like a nuclear problem, as he was about to reply the blast of fire hit the car which melted the windscreen and my fingers on the steering wheel, i didn't look at Chris to confirm he was dead but knew he was and could feel the skin burn and melt from my face knowing my own death was coming, this carried on for a few seconds then i woke up.

As i state i think i know what this means but a second or third opinion would be appreciated
