  • Why won't Youtube upload my converted GIF?

I have been trying to upload a gif of an animated drawing I made. I went to online-convert.com and converted my short gif to a MP4 and MOV. When I tried to upload it the MOV version wouldn't work at all,but the MP4 worked for a few seconds. Is it because my GIF is too short? If I tried to find a way to make it loop would it work? Am I converting it to the wrong file?

I even tried to use Windows Live Maker, but that didn't work either. Hmm... :/

  • What are good YA, fictional stories with people of color as the main characters or diverse stories?

What are good YA, fictional stories with people of color as the main character or diverse characters, that have nothing to do with racism or race relations. It can be about spies, comedy, romance, almost anything. I mean no disrespect but please don't reference any of Stephanie Perry Moore's books.

I had no problem finding stories about poc when I was in younger, like in middle school. Now, there's next to nothing in the teen section.

I have already read (there's probably more, but these are all I remember):

    The true meaning of Smekday

    Fox and Phoenix

    NERDS

    A la Carte

    Millicent Min: Girl Genius

  • Help! It hurts to swallow, my nose is stuffed, my throat is dry?

I just got over a huge, terrible fever. (I never get sick!)

This entire sick ordeal started thurs night/Friday until now

On Sat., with my hurting throat drank cups upon cups of nasty-super healthy orange juice. It took me forever to find out the OJ made my throat swell u worse! Still, that was god vitamin C for my cold.

I switched over to drinking hit water; could not stand the taste and didn't want tea or lozenges.

I have been taking ibuporfen for the last six days. I haven't been eating much because I felt so miserable. All I have had for this entire span are ten oranges, bacon and eggs, hot and cold water, chicken dumplings soup (Chunky/I hate chicken noodles.)

I think I had actually gotten a little better but its hard to sleep! I usually breath out y nose but every 2 min I have to constantly blow my nose, which disturbs my sleeping. Last night, when I gradually felt my throat get better I breathed out my mouth with made my mouth and throat dry as a desert. I could only sooth it for about 30 secs at a time if I drank room-temperate. I woke up with a dry, agitated throat.

This morning, I tried salt water and I think it slowly worked, but I'm so nauseous from taking most of this pills on an empty stomach. I couldn't gargle for long I just feel like throwing up. Sad thing , Ive nothing to throw up the little I had yesterday has been digested. I haven't rated yet/don't know what eat

Any other ideas? Please please help!

  • What is the title to this y/a girl detective series?

I'm trying to remember this y/a girl detective series I read a few years ago.

    I remember:

The girls went to some type of private school

The book cover had red in it; their uniforms were red

In the 2nd book they made a band, and the lead singers dad got made at her for referencing 'riding on the back of a motorcycle with a boy."

The lead character in the 2nd book rode on the back of her boyfriends motorcycle/moped?

In the first book, the main character was jealous of a new girl, because she thought the new girl was trying to steal her best friend (now boyfriend) away from her. Turns out the new girl wasn't...

That is all I can really remember! Does anyone know the series name?

  • How long did it take you to sell on Etsy? Any advice?

    Hi.

I run a Etsy shop dedicated to my artwork, which mean prints, originals, and (soon) stickers! This is my first time running an online shop. I have had this shop since Oct 5, 2012 and I haven't sold anything yet. Besides, adding more items (I'm working on it!) if anyone has any tips or suggestions, that could be helpful to me I would appreciate it! I would like to make my Etsy experience a good one.

    My etsy is http://www.etsy.com/shop/Dhendersonart

Also, how long did it take you to sell on Etsy? What did you do to contribute to that? Do you think there are better online stores than Etsy (that required Paypal)?

  • Any good tv shows or webshows in Spanish for kids/teens?

H! I'm currently looking for shows to watch in Spanish, that could possibly help me learn some too! They don't necessarily have to be educational! I'm only fifteen so I would love a youthful, funny show? Romance, adventure, comedy, drama, or anything else is cool with me! My only inhibition/exception is I don't want a show with cursing! I just want to learn the clean words of Spanish. I have already accidentally learned "hijo de puta." I know... I know the curse words are some of the quickest things to pick up in a new language. XD

Anyway, I have already seen and loved an internet/interactive program called Mi Vida Loco, boring Destinos, Hey Arnold (in Spanish), Mucha Lucha (in Spanish), Shuriken School (in Spanish). I have also done some Rosetta Stone, which isn't TV but I thought I would throw that out there.

Long story short, I'm looking for shows originally in Spanish. I'm not playing that. "Go watch this show dubbed in Spanish stuff."

Thanks for any help in advance! :)

  • What is this young adult book's title?

Man, there was a good series I think it was a trilogy that I loved! It was young adult/for teens. The books were thick! I mean huge!

It was about a teenage boy who was a poor, sailor on a flying ship, and he was an inventor too I think. He would send money home to his family, his mom and sisters.

He fell in love with girl, I feel like her name was Piper or Polly or something. Anyway, he fell in love with this rich, upper-class girl with an appetite for adventure and they discovered some type of treasure when they docked the ship. (In later books the girl became a jerk to me. She started liking some snobby guy and the boy started liking a gypsy girl.)

I wish I could remember the title, but I can't even remember the name of the author. I do remember a man wrote the books though.

  • How do dancers teach classes in different countries?

I'm always seeing famous dancers/choreographers, especially from ABDC, doing dance classes in different countries. How do teach if they don't speak the language over there? Do they have translators or do they dance and have the students copy them? Does someone speak the native language at certain points to clue everyone else in?

Also how do they get invited to teach internationally? If they're acclaimed enough dancers do people just seek them out and ask them to teach? Are they with some type of dance company that finds out opportunities for its clients?

I'm not a dancer but I have always wondered about this.

  • Any good manga recommendations?

Hey, does anyone know any good mangas to read? Keep in mind I don’t read ecchi, yuri, yaoi, or mature/OT (older teens over 16), anything with too much fan service, or too dark a plot. I like mangas that keep stuff light and funny. I’m probably a tough person to get books for. XD

However if you do know some good ones please let me know!

Some of the ones I have read (I’m probably forgetting a bunch):

    Assorted Pokemon mangas

Gakuen Alice (The 1st real manga I read faithfully)

    Prince of Tennis

    A lot of Clamp books

Akiko (if that counts as a manga XD)

    Shugo Chara

    Whistle

    Pixie Pop

Cardcaptor Sakura (I only read the first few books)

Tokyo Mew Mew (the first series only)

    Lucky Star

    Beauty Pop

    Astro Boy

    Pixie Pop

    Peach fuzz

    Hikaru no go

    Megaman NT

    Miracle Girls

    Anti Gravity Boy

    Sailor Moon

    Wild Damon
