Physics Question-Explanation of Specific Gravity?
I've got a physics homework question:
A wooden raft has a mass kg, and the wood has specific gravity "n". What is the maximum cargo you can load onto the raft before the raft starts to sink.
What exactly is specific gravity? I've gone through my notes a bunch of times from lecture and can't seem to figure it out. I have picked out that the Specific Gravity is:
(Density of Liquid)/(1gm/cm^3)
Most likely the issue is I'm just not understanding the question, though any help with clearing up my confusion of SG would be appreciated! (If having the numerical values would help, then I can include them. I just don't see it necessary)
2 AnswersPhysics7 years agoShould an LSM have defensive or middie arm pads?
So I recently picked up running lsm and want to make the best decision on length of arm pads. I'm assuming it's all preference, but any suggestions/advice/opinions that would help me decide would be appreciated!
1 AnswerOther - Sports9 years agoOblivion question...?
So, playing some Oblivion this past weekend (old, I know but love it). I was wondering: what happens when you reach the max level? Can you still rank your perks up (Call of duty I know...) So once I reach my max level, can I still rank up the minor perks? I'm an archer so all the minor perks that come with it. (for added information). I really dont want to reach my max, and have a good portion of my minor perks stuck at somewhat low levels. any tips would be appreciated
1 AnswerXbox9 years agoLacrosse- Wall ball question?
Ok, so I am clearly not attending Syracuse or Duke or any good lacrosse college. I just love the sport. That being said, I play wall ball a lot. Whenever I'm not at practice I hit the wall. That being said, to keep me interested, I think of different ways to throw the ball i.e Left leg up, right arm one handed catch and toss. So on and so fourth. If anyone could contribute and just give me some more ideas that would be awesome! I'm kind of bone dry on what else I can try and experiment.
Thanks
