Okay, first of all; I am an only child. I've been reading a few things online and realising, or rather confirming what I already knew; *Some people are extremely prejudice towards only children.

I realise that I'm biased because I am an only child, but I'm still going to talk about this. You've probably heard the stereotypes, that only children are spoiled, socially challenged, etc. My question to you is this; why is it ok to be prejudice towards only children without getting called out for it? Why is it ok to automatically assume and pressure a woman to have another baby because God forbid she only has one? It's not ok to be racist, homophobic, sexist, a bully, or basically treat someone differently because of something they most likely can't change. Why is it ok to treat only children and parents of only children differently?

My mother once told me she would have loved to have more children but the fact of the matter was she couldn't because she and I both almost died during her pregnancy with me and it was just too dangerous to try again. I can't even count the amount of times I've been called spoiled etc. because I'm an only child.

So basically, I want to know your opinion on this. Thanks for reading.

Ok. So there's this random cabinet at the top of the stairs in my house. We don't use it for anything, and never really open it. My mom has this intense fear of mice and today our cat was staring right at the cabinet and there's mouse - like squeaks coming from it. We've had this problem before. Now my mom's freaking out and I've offered to open the cabinet and check but I don't know what to do if a mouse runs out. So, without traps or poison, how do you kill a mouse? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm the only one here who can take care of this so my mom will stop freaking out. Do I just hit it with something? If so, with what? SO, my dad was married before he married my mom and had 2 kids, a boy & a girl. They are both in their 30s now, but I'm 13. I never had much to do with them, but I'm an only child and I really wish I could be closer to them, especially the girl. She has this adorable 1 year old boy and since i'll never have any other nieces or nephews, I'd love to be closer to him too. We've hung out once or twice, but never seem to have anything to talk about. I understand that with the huge age difference its harder but still. What can i do to get closer to her, feel more comfortable wih her and find things to talk about?? Please help!! :)

I have a lot of Hi8 (8 mm) tapes that I love to watch but I really want to get them converted to DVD to make them easier to view. Is there anywhere to send them that will ship them to Ireland? I know there probably isn't, but I thought it was worth a try. I know there are going to be people who tell me I can do it myself, but I can't do it on my laptop because I have a netbook, so I cant put DVDs in it. Preferably tell me the cheapest service. So, I really enjoy filming and then editing videos. I plan on getting a video camera/recorder for Christmas. I need people to reccomend what kind of recorder to get. I'm a begginer and am not looking for a fancy, expensive camera. Just a good quality, easy to use camera.

I also need recommendations for an editing program. I have an Asus netbook with Windows 7 Starter if that helps. Right now I'm using Windows Live Movie Maker which I don't really like. The editing program also needs to be easy to use, but still good.

Firstly, I am a HUGE Hunger Games fan. I've read all three books more than once and have seen the movie three gillion times. But, i could never figure out what Cato says in that last mutt scene when he has Peeta in a chokehod (or whatever it's called).

I know he says "Go on, I'm dead anyway,"

But after that i was lost.

Then, last time i watched i turned on subtitles and i learned he says...

"I always was, right. I didn't know that 'till now."

What does that mean! I don't get it. Someone please explain.
