Im sure theres got to be some of you out there who are metal fans. i want to know how many of you like (or love) metal. i love metal and tons of different subgenres of it, cuz its cool to experiment. i get tired of all the people who say, "metal is stupid" because they think that it takes no talent, but i can assure you, most of it takes a lot of talent. A lot of people think that the screaming found in certain subgenres of metal doesnt take talent either, but it usually does and it takes practice. I can understand why some people dont like it, but i love it, and i want to know if anyone else is a fan of metal.

I cant understand this stupid trend. It is the dumbest, most annoying thing ive ever seen. I dont get what is so cool about wearing your pants to your knees, talking all these stupid words and phrases that dont make any sense to anyone that has any kind of intelligence, and all that stupid, flashy jewelry (or "ice") The worst part is when these wannabes talk like the wannabe rappers. They go on and on about "hustlin," "in da club", "shawty", or how good they think they are, or how much money they got, or how they get all the girls, and i dont understand why people care. Does anyone agree that this is about the stupidest thing that's ever happened to america?

I dont want to insult anybody, but i think that jerkin is one of the stupidest things ive ever seen. I dont get why its so "cool." tons of people at my school love the song and the dance, and i just dont get it. I think that mainstream hip hop failed with dancing since crank dat soulja boy (probably even before that) I just cant stand anything that has to do with jerkin, does anybody know why its popular?

I will not stand for this mainstream garbage in America. In my opinion, about 98% does not require any talent, and more than 95% of the time, all they talk about is sex, partying, lust (which they call "love") and just stupid random things like texting, or twitter, or "lol". I can't understand why it's so "cool." I think it's embarrasing when you look at America's "popular" music and you see trash like Soulja Boy, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Cobra Starship, 50 cent, and so many others. I just wanted to see if anyone has a GOOD reason for why mainstream music is so popular.

I can't take it when people say "that's what she said." It makes me want to scream and give them a huge lecture on how not to be a pervert or something. I have never liked it at all, and everytime someone says it I usually have to listen to death metal or something to get all the anger out ( don't get me wrong, I like death metal, as long as it's not satanic or anything) My seventh grade math teacher got mad about the same thing one day and gave the class a huge lecture on not to say it. She said it was degrading to women ( I didnt completely understand that, but I was on her side for the whole thing) and I think I was the only student in the grade who agrees with her. If this is supposed to be the new stupid "trend" of American teenagers( even though I'm a teenager myself, I despise it ) then God help us all. I just want to know if anyone agrees with me.

Tell me which one of the above genres that you like more. I can't stand about 99.9% of rap, and I love rock, but give me your honest opinion.

Would you rather listen to soulja boy, or music from black sabbath? Which do you think is better? Personally, I like Black Sabbath a WHOLE lot more than soulja boy, but you can pick whatever you want, i wont be mad.

Okay, here is the question, would you rather listen to music from High School Musical, or Led Zeppelin? It is your choice. Pick whatever you want.

I absolutely cannot stand modern rap and especially mainstream rap. I think rock is real music and rap isnt. To me, underground rap and 90's rap is okay, sometimes, i still dont like it, but if you guys like rap, that is okay because it is your decision. I just want to find out if anyone agrees with me.
