Dalam ketatanegaraan Indonesia, dimanakah kedudukan Mahakamah Konstitusi?

Apakah termasuk lembaga yudikatif?

Kalau iya, apakah MK tingkatannya lebih tinggi dari Mahkamah Agung?

Dalam menginterpretasi undang-undang pemilu (atau undang-undang lain), apakah seorang hakim/jaksa/advokat harus melihat maksud dari ayat-ayat undang-undang, atau terikat pada teks yg tertulis?

Kalo maksud dari undang2 yang tau persis ya hanya pembuatnya dong. Bagaimana kalo para pembuatnya (anggota DPR, pemeritahan) yg berjalan sudah meninggal? Sedangkan Undang-undang (seharusnya) dibuat untuk tahan lama?

Adakah yang bisa jelaskan ketentuan penentuan kursi di DPR (interpretasi KPU dan interpretasi MK) dalam tiga paragraf saja? Mungkin dengan contoh satu dapil aja dan penyederhanaan disana-sini. Yang penting prinsip-prinsipnya masuk

Specifically, how do one actually measures the components of GDP. The common formula is :

GDP = gross consumption + gross investment + government spending + (exports - imports).

I can understand, or at least guess, how the authorities (i.e. government) obtain measures for 'spending' (this is recorded in state budget), 'investment', 'export' and 'import' (they generate taxes), but how do authorities measure gross consumptions of entire nation?

PS: I'm not an econ student so easy on the jargon please...

Supposing today I have 100 bucks and I can choose to spend it all on say a $100 worth of gizmo OR stick it in a CD account with fixed interest rate say 1% p.a. And then I heard on the news that the govt just announced that the inflation rate will be 2%.

If I choose to be wise and save my money today, by the same date next year, how much my money will worth?

Is it the government? Is it the participating banks/credit union?

And to whom the board of governor answers to?

In my country, the central bank has been separated from the executive branch of government. The central bank governor used to be a public post in the cabinet. Now, the president elect candidates for board of governors to be elected by the house. The elected board then works along side the house and the cabinet to maintain and execute monetary policy.

Why is this the 'better' way (according to some economist)?

Why is this NOT the 'better way (according to some others)?
