  • Old ammunition (shotgun shells)?

    I have a sealed (unopened, seals intact) box of Eley 12ga, low brass, #8 shot, shotgun shells. These probably date from the 1950s or earlier. I know these were made by Eley Kynoch in the UK. What I'm wondering is if (a) they have an collector value or (b) should be disposed of by disarming them (aging of the propellant). Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

  • Am looking to buy a new 2008 GMC Canyon, is this a good deal?

    The local GMC dealer offered to sell me a New 2008 Canyon SLE-1 for $19,000 + $1,300 TT&L. The MSRP is $22,250. I would think I will take a big depreciation hit as soon as I hand over the check. Is this a good deal?
