  • Skinny Girl Diet tips?

I'm starting the skinny girl diet tomorrow. I modified it slightly and upped some of the caloric intake on some days so that I don't completely shock my body from a normal diet to barely any calories.

What I'm asking is: For anyone that has done this diet, are there any tips anyone can offer? If you're going to lecture me about my eating habits, don't waste your time or energy. This isn't a rash decision, and I'm not a wannabe anorexic, so don't start. Dieting, working out, and counting calories is something I have done for the past two years.

Anyways, back to my question: What are some good low calorie filling meals/snacks you had?

Is there anything I should keep in mind or do/not do during this diet? Thanks for any help!

  • Anyone that works with polymer clay?

I make charms and jewelry out of oven bake polymer clay. I have the process/painting down just fine. However, I'm looking for advice with anyone that also works with polymer clay, especially for making jewelry etc. What do you use to decorate/design the clay before baking? I just use my hands, and they end up looking uneven and bumpy and really sloppy. What tools should I use to make them look more professional? And do you have any other tips for me? Thanks!

  • How do I tell my parents about everything?

I know this is wordy, but hear me out.

Things started when I was 16, such as consistent and severe panic attacks. My mom told me that it happened to my sister at my age and that they would go away as I got older. I'm 20 now, and I still have panic attacks, some mild and some severe, about every 2-3 days. I've also noticed within the last year that things have started going downhill. I've seemed to have reached my breaking point this month. I'm always irritable. I used to love spending time with my family, and now I just want to withdraw from everybody. Every little thing that someone does makes me cringe or irritates me, sometimes even with my close friends or boyfriend. I've been in a constant "blue" state. I never feel like joking anymore - I used to always be the joker and I would find everything funny. Now, it's very hard to make me genuinely laugh. I'm always stressed or anxious. I'm always sleepy, and even after 8 or more hours of sleep, I feel exhausted the next day. I have to take extra melatonin to sleep, and it doesn't work sometimes. There are many other things I'll feel time to time, like guilt or that I'm an annoyance to everyone around me, etc.

In a nutshell, I'm concerned that I MIGHT have a form of depression, whether that's mild or moderate or what have you. I scheduled a counseling session at my college for tomorrow - it's free and I figured it couldn't hurt to talk to a professional. The thing is, my parents have no idea. I haven't talked to them because in the past when I have, my mom thinks it's no big deal and blames it on things I do or people I'm with. My dad basically tells me it's the devil's fault and I haven't been praying or reading the Bible enough (I've been raised in a Christian home.) I'm just worried that if the psychologist might think I have depression and/or an anxiety disorder, he will refer me to a psychiatrist for medication/therapy. I would just go and pay for it all myself, but I still live with my parents and I don't have a job because I'm a full time college student and don't have the time or energy to keep up with a job and getting my bachelors right now. So eventually, I'm going to have to get my parents involved.

So I'm asking..with parents that have the kind of outlook on mental disorders that they do, how do I bring this up to my parents? AND, has anyone been diagnosed with an anxiety and/or depression disorder? Do these symptoms sound familiar to you or is it all in my head? I'm a psychology major, but I need more perspective than just psychology majors, I need perspective from people who have suffered from things like this, too.

  • My Streampad on Tumblr won't play my music?

I have a Streampad on my Tumblr. It used to work fine. But now it will start with my current song and skip all the way to the last one quickly without playing any of them. I've updated my flash player, I've tried taking the code out and redoing it, and I've tried deleting the song posts and reuploading them. None of that has worked. Any ideas?

  • Best site to sell handmade items?

I make polymer jewelry and hand paint all of them. I'm looking for reliable sites for me to sell them on. Don't suggest Etsy, I'm aware of Etsy and I'm looking for more options because I'm not too fond of the fact that they charge you to list, sell, and promote. I don't have the kind of lifestyle to pay a high monthly bill, nor the time to promote myself every day to get myself noticed like many people say you have to on Etsy. Any suggestions are welcome :) please no rude comments. I'm not trying to support myself with this, I'm just a college student looking to make some spare money from my hobby. :)

  • Why does my nose piercing still hurt right now?

I've had my nose piercing done for almost 6 months. I've always taken really good care of it and cleaned it as much as I was told. I also waited to change it until after it was healed. It's been painless, I forget it's even there, for the last few months. But this month. maybe even the last month and a half, it's started hurting again. I still clean it about every other day. I have a hoop in right now, the same one I've had in since I changed for the first time back around the 3 or 4 month mark, and it was fine before. Does anyone know what's going on? Could it be hurting because my nostril is dry from the weather getting colder? Should I replace the hoop with a stud until it feels better, or should I leave it in and continue to clean it and just leave it alone? I love this hoop so much and I don't want to take it out, but I hate the uncomfortable feeling my nose is giving me right now.

  • How would you suggest that a long-distance Youtube partnership work?

I have a friend that moved 2 hours away. We have an idea to do a music/chat related web show, kind of like a podcast. It would be a pain for us to drive to one place or the other 2 hours away. Does anyone have any ideas on how we could somehow still have a Youtube partnership and make videos "together" without using up our gas every few days to record a video? Any creative ways that you would be interested to watch on Youtube?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Advice from someone with a tongue piercing?

I really want a new piercing. I already have my nose, bellybutton, and 4 in each ear. I've been heavily considering the tongue, but I'm not completely sold yet. People that have one: How was the pain? If you live/lived with your parents, how did they take it? How is the healing period? Did it change your speech dramatically? Etc. I need more research before I decide on my newest piercing. Thanks in advance :)
