  • St. Louis Cardinals Ticket Buying Question?

I'm all down for saving money when I can and I was looking at the prices for tickets for St. Louis Cardinals home games.

For a few sections Outfield/Infield Terrace Reserved and Pavilion Reserved, there are special prices for "kids pricing" which is a lot cheaper ($7 or $9 seats)

Now, if I am not a kid (15years old as defined on the website), is there a way I can still take advantage of these cheap seats?

Buying: When buying them from the box office, can I say that I'm buying them for like "my little brother" who isn't with me right now?

Gate: I assume that if I do get a kids ticket, getting in should be no problem right? As almost every stadium just scans the ticket without really looking at it anymore.

Any insight on this situation as to if it could work/or has worked before for others?

And please I don't want to hear people talking about this being unethical, heck, I want the cheapest ticket possible.

  • Ordering Drinks at Restaurant/Bar?

Ok, so basically up until yesterday when I was educated on proper ways to order drinks, hahah, I've been usually just going the generic way. As in when I order it's something like Long Island, Gin and Tonic, Vodka and Cran. I'm not too educated on alcohol but yesterday I read on the difference between well/call/premium drinks.

So my question is, when I order a drink at a restaurant, and I do order a drink with specific alcohol (call or premium), how much more is the drink cost wise compared to the "base" cost. This is all assuming, lets say the drink menu doesn't specify which brands of spirits are in each drink.

Any restaurant workers/bartenders can shed some light? I'd assume call/premium level drinks cost more but usually how much more than the normal well drink when unspecified?

  • Product Selling in Public Question?

I've had this idea since last year. With Thanksgiving break and the shopping season in full swing. During black friday when a bunch of shoppers are lined up outside stores. What do you think about setting up like a mobile concession thing to make a few bucks?

Concessions as in trying to see if the shoppers lined up want to buy things such as food/water/hand-warmers?

My big question is: Is it illegal to try and make a few bucks that way on Black Friday?

  • Who owns/owned a Rawlings Pro Preferred Baseball Glove? COME IN!?

Ok, so last week, I decided to break in and use a new Rawlings Pro Preferred 50th Anni Black Baseball glove. (had a tan colored one before)

One thing I've noticed is that when I play with a white pearl, the ball will end up "black" due to the glove color and rubbing off.

It's ruining my pearls I'm playing catch with!!!

How common is this for dark colored gloves and does it go away once the glove is broken in or will it always be a factor because the glove is black colored?

Any help? I've always had a tan colored pro preferred before this one so the black markings weren't a problem!!!

  • Are Glacéau Vitamin Water Flavors sold regionally?

I live in the Kansas City Metro Area.

I have tried all 15 flavors of Glacéau Vitamin Water. Liked a few and hated a few but I'm addicted to it though. Here where I live it seems like there are only a few flavors sold. Mostly:

    essential (orange-orange)

    XXX (pomegranate)

    focus (kiwi-strawberry)

    energy (tropical citrus)

revive (fruit punch) Worst tasting one!

    power-c (dragonfruit)

Now, I really want to try some of the other flavors I tried in the past but cannot find them in stores such as:

    endurance (peach-mango)

    balance (cranberry-grapefruit)

    b-relaxed (jackfruit-guava)

    vital-t (lemon tea)

Where would you suggest to buy them?

And what flavors of Glacéau Vitamin Water are sold near you + location?

  • Anyone who knows/worked in Restaurant Industry (Servers. Bussers) Need Help!?

Ok, so I'm heavily thinking about trying to get a job in the food industry as a server, busser, or other. I've been really confused as to how the pay thing goes.

    1.

Theoretically lets say I'm a bus boy. I earn $7/hr + $20 in tips from the server. I work 10 hours ($70). For getting my money, do I get the $70 and $20 separately or combined into one check. If separately do I get the $20 in cash? And do I get taxed on both amounts or just the hourly wage?

    2. Server. I make $3/hour and make $100 in tips for the night ($30 cash, $70 on Credit Card). At the end of the day, do I physically get the $100 of tips from the restaurant (manager)??? If yes, Since tips were both cash/credit, do I get both amounts or just the cash Tips?

Also, I know that I have to pay tax on my hourly wage but do servers have to pay tax on their Tips? (Cash tips and or Credit CArd Tips?)

    ANYONE HELP???

    Thanks

  • Exchanging Money USD at banks? (paper currency)?

Ok, so I have a few questions about exchanging money.

Please don't ask why I want to, it's just personal reasons, nothing illegal

So I have $1000 right now, all in 20s.

Would I be able to go to a bank and ask for an exchange lets say for all $1 bills?

I know it might be suspicious but I've got ID and stuff, it's not like I'm robbing them or anything.

I'm wanting to try and get my hands on some FRESH BRAND NEW Bills, Ones or maybe 20s (however I don't have enough to get a strap of 20s yet, half way there)

  • Credit Card Application Question?

Ok, so I'm a student over 18yrs and am looking to get some credit. If I apply for a credit card and don't get accepted (most likely for not enough credit history/income) will being denied have any negative impact/or record on my credit history?

I'm looking to apply for a bunch of cards but if not getting approved will leave a record/bad impact, then I will reconsider how many I will try to apply.

If you have any certain proof and an answer, that would be great

  • Help with a math concept!

This is the only concept that I didn't really pay attention to this past year in PreCalc/Trig

This logarithms and exponential model stuff.

I've got my equation down to this:

    1,000,000=500,000(1.0375)^x

I then did this: divided both sides by half of million:

    2=1.0375^x

    What do I do now

I need to find in how many years (x) the population will reach 1,000,000
