Like many people in the world, although my first language was a kind of German, it wasn't Hochdeutsch. I grew up in many different countries, so I've never been formally instructed in how to write Hochdeutsch - only how to spell it, and how to read it.

Can someone tell me what is wrong in the poem below? I'm not sure if I wrote correctly in Hochdeutsch. And yes, it was composed first in German, the English is a translation.

Gleich mit viele Menschen in der Welt, obwohl meine erste Sprache (ein Mundart von) Deutsch war, war es nicht Hochdeutsch. Aufgewachsen war ich in vielen verschiedenen Ländern, also habe ich nie formelles Hochdeutsch lernt - nur wie man es buchstabiert, und wie es las - nicht wie man es schreibt. Ich habe im letzten Jahr Duden sehr oft gelesen, aber ich glaube etwas ist vielleicht sonst unrecht.

Kann mir jemand sagen, was in dem Gedicht unten los? Mir ist es nicht sicher. Es war ja doch auf Deutsch zuerst geschrieben - das Englisch ist ein Dolmetschung.

Wir stehen öffentlich hoch,

ohne falsches Mut,

nur mit dem Auskunft Heute,

noch im Herz bedeckt.

Wir stehen uns ebenso

ohne Scheißidee,

nur mit dem herrliches Mut

bis im Herz geschlagen.

We stand openly tall

without false courage,

only with the information today

still in the heart covered.

We stand likewise

without a ******* idea,

only with the splendid courage

until the heart is beaten.

I want to write something offensive in finnish, but I don't think I have a proper hand on swearing yet?

Could someone help translate offensive things to say?

Here is the set of things to say, (followed by my attempt at finnish swearing based on what I understand from finnish conversations):

What the **** do you wish to speak about?

Why not write about it in a ******* e-mail for me?

What in the ******* hell has this whore done?

It's bullshit, you demon-slut!

It's abso-*******-lutely total ****!

I'm sure this is asked all the time, but I didn't find it in the repository.

Basically, a problem like (-3) * (-3)=9 is in mind.

Now, I've heard it said that if Susan had 3 apples, and they were missing, then she has (-3) apples.

If Stacy and Deborah are also each missing 3 apples [(-3) and (-3)], then 'a total of 9 apples are missing'.

This kind of explanation has been used with me to explain that 9 REAL apples are missing, so it's not written with a negative sign. Still, one would think _missing_ apples would be written (-9), since SUSAN's missing apples are (-3)!

I know the rules of math. I _know_ that (-x) * (-y) = [positive] z.

Can you rephrase this in a way that I can explain this to a 10 year old child?
