Galaxy S5 stolen. Need to get it blacklisted/unusable and have tried many avenues. Help!?
Hello Answers Colleagues!
Long story short, my Samsung Galaxy S5 was violently stolen.
I have taken the following action since then:
-disabled the SIM making it unusable as a telephone.
-Locked it, made it ring (I guess), and tried to track it via Google (location services are currently off though)
-called my service provider, Best Buy, and am currently on hold with Samsung (the 6th person I've spoken to today) and they say that since the location service is not enabled, they can't kill the phone.
The thief is using it through Wifi to access my Snapchat account. He's sent selfies to my friends repeatedly. My end goal is to make the phone non-usable to him in any way. I'd like to not get reminders of the attack.
It's concerning to me that I successfully remotely locked it through these instructions and it definitely did not work. https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6160500...
There HAS to be a way to get this done. Earlier in this situation no company would help me get my IMEI# until someone at Best Buy procured it with ease, so I've been given the runaround before. Any thoughts? Many thanks.
1 AnswerCell Phones & Plans5 years agoWhat's the Facebook app that maps where your friends are from?
There's some app that looks like a heat sensor, kind of. It shows where heavy concentrations of your friends are from all around the world. Does anyone remember what it's called/if it's still around? Thanks, everybody.

Does anyone know what kind of plate tectonic action happened on October 2, 2006 during a mag 4.2 earthquake? I mean if it was convergent, divergent, strike slip, or something else? Thank you so much!!

Toward the end, when everything's fallen apart at the party, Glenn Close's character says something to the effect of "I thought about places where no one would notice a bunch of robot wives, and I thought to myself 'Connecticut!'"
Does anyone remember the actual line?
1 AnswerMovies1 decade agoGizmo thing looks like a scam. Any ideas?
I just got an account with Gizmo to try to record some of my voice-mails onto my computer. Since downloading the program a few minutes ago, my outlook express flickers twice every few seconds in the bar where one minimizes running programs. I uninstalled the program since it doesn't seem to work. I can't find how to cancel my account on their website and it seems like other people have had problems with this too. My questions are:
1) Any idea how to get rid of the flickering email?
2) Any idea how to cancel my account?
and
3) Anybody know how to get a good quality recording of a phone (Motorola RAZR V3) onto a computer?
Thanks for anybody's input.

Also, can one create their own dances?

1 AnswerVideo & Online Games1 decade agoTrig's Law of Sins is like someone made up a language and didn't give me the dictionary.?
Here's an example of a problem I have:
Directions say, "Use the Law of Sines to solve (if possible) the triangle. If two solutions exist, find both. Round your answers to two decimal places."
A=76 degrees
a=34
b=21
I know you can use the formula a/sinA=b/sinB but I get lost on what to do from there. Thanks for any light you can shed.
2 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoTrig eats away at the fibers of my soul. I would love any help you can offer!?
Howdy folks! I'm having a hard time with these kinds of problems. Can anyone tell me if there's a set procedure for solving them? Like, first change everything into sin or cos, second get zero on one side, etc. If there is a pattern, some constant way of figuring these out, it would help me SO much.
Here's my problem:
Find all solutions of the equation in the interval [0, 2pi]
2sin(2) x + cosx – 1 = 0
the (2) is an exponent, so it's 2sin (squared).
Thanks in advance.

3 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoFun with finding difference quotients. For a midterm. Tomorrow. Pre-Cal.?
Here's the problem:
f(x)=3x-2. Find the diff. quot. {f(3+h)} - {f(3)} ÷ h
I tried doing this: (which was wrong)
{3(3+h)-2} - {3(3)-2} ÷ h
{9+3h-2} -7 ÷h
3h ÷ h
3
I know I'm missing a second part, but for the life of me, I can't get this. Another source said I need to add the 3x-2 at the end of the numerator, but I don't get why. The main formula for diff. quot. doesn't say to add anything else.
Any light you can shed is greatly appreciated!
4 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoNonlinear Inequalities from Pre-Cal, anyone?
Would you tell me a) how to solve these kinds of problems and b) how to factor them?
Directions: Solve the inequality and write the solution set in interval notation.
(2x^3) - (x^4) < or = to 0
Thank you!
