This problem just kinda appeared. My mother does not have the blue navigation bar on facebook. We had other facebooks up, and they have it. But hers doesnt. We tried zooming in and out, and nothing happens. We've refreshed the page a bunch, and nothing happens. Help?

So, we rented an apartment, signed a lease, and we were supposed to move in today.

Before we signed the lease, the landlord told us that a paint job wouldn't be included. We opposed at first, but considering the rent was fairly low, we figured it was doable and we could paint it ourselves later.

After we signed the lease, we got a message about 2 weeks later saying a cleaning job wouldn't be included. We questioned why, but the landlord wouldn't respond. We eventually gave up trying and thought to just deal with it later.

So today, we tried to move in.

The place is a complete mess. There's a hole in the wall, the ceiling is peeling in like 7 different spots, theres some dirt in the apartment, several filthy mattresses are laying about, an old couch that smells, several bags of garbage on the ground, and just a ton more stuff.

And the worst part, a message we got today, the old tenant has yet to move out. He was not there when we inspected the place, but his dog was.

We are currently paying for the gas and electricity in the building, which someone else is using now. We couldn't move in today, because the dog is there, and we have no idea if its friendly or not (the place is also just straight up a pig-sty).

We also considered getting another roommate after the signing the lease, since there is an extra room. In response, the landlord told us the rent would increase be 100 dollars, and afterwords, wouldn't respond.

So... what can we do exactly?

I recently dropped a friend's old DS action replay, and one of the corners seems to have popped up. I've tried pressing it together, but it doesnt seem to stick. Now it cannot read any games.

Is there any way to fix this? I feel really bad that I dropped my friends action replay.

So I was always raised to be a polite guest and host whenever visiting or being visited. Usually small things, like always greet them, and meet them to the door when they leave. Or bring a small gift (usually chips or soda) if it's the first time visiting.

However, recently my friends (who, admittedly, do not follow the same rules) came over to my house and left me in a confusing situation that I didn't really know what to do. For the sake of simplicity, I'll call them Friend A and B.

So here is the situation.

>Friend A came over first

>Played a few rounds of smash bros with him

>Friend B shows up

>Friend A says he gets nervous if watched while playing, and refuses to play smash bros. Friend A suggests playing other games

>Friend B came over with the intent to play smash bros, and not much else.

>Both parties refuse to play in a 3 way free for all

>Friend A does not want to sit and watch

for too many matches, and is stubborn about not wanting to be watched.

>Friend A decides he'll just go, and feeling a bit bad, Friend B decides to go as well

>Friend A then mentions "we'll, if your going, then I'll stay"

>Friend B then says that if Friend A stays, he will as well.

So yeah... thats the situation. I ended up kicking them both out, partly because I didn't want to deal with this situation, and partly because I couldn't really come up with a better option

In case this comes up again, what should I have done?

Growing up, I was always told that Milk helps your bones grow, and Juice keeps you healthy. As a result, I found myself drinking those 2 much more then any other drink, though my parents made me drink a few glasses of water every day as well.

However, now that I'm in college, and I've recently developed an allergy to Milk, I find myself solely buying juice at the grocery store, and basically getting all my hydration from juice (typically Naked Juices)

Is this really bad for me? Should I start switching to water?

So after Easter dinner, I started noticing this. At first I thought it was food poisoning, because a lot of the food had questionable quality to it. But it's been a while since Easter, so figured I'd ask.

Recently, whenever I have to eat or poop, I get a dull aching pain in my stomach that slowly worsens until I do either of them. They both feel pretty much the same too.

So any quick remedy to this?

So this happened a while ago, and I didn't think much of it till recently, and now I kinda think it's weird.

So about 3 weeks ago was finals week at my college (we work off a quarter system), and as usual, I was under a lot of stress. I tend to break out when I have a lot of stress, and ended up getting one big pimp on the side of my nose, above the nostril.

After a week, it didn't seem to be shrinking at all, even after applying prescription medicine. With all my finals done, I got bored and decided to just pop it.

When I popped it however, a mixture of blood and snot came out. I'm fairly sure it wasn't puss (I pop a lot of pimples (bad habit, I know) and this... substance had a much more gooey texture and was green tinted)

The zit hasn't grown back at all, in fact, popping it seemed to make it go away completely. I'm not really nervous of any medical condition or anything, I was just wondering if this is a semi-normal thing, or what exactly happened here?

So I've been friends with this girl for about 3 months now, and I finally had the courage to ask her on a date this weekend. However, I was supposed to visit my sister this weekend, but when I told her I was asking a girl on a date, she said it was fine to skip visiting her.

The plan was to visit my sister if my friend said no to dating, and go on a date if she said yes.

She ended up saying no, which I was half expecting. We have a fairly solid friendship going, and dating would kinda risk it.

Before I asked her however, we somehow got on the conversation of guys who are nice just to get girls, and then just leave them when they don't date. (bad timing for me to ask, I know). She also said that we as a group of friends should hang this weekend.

So now I don't know what to do. I still really want to visit my sister this weekend; since she tends to be busy and I don't know when I can see her again. But after that conversation, I feel as though she would think negatively of me if I bailed this weekend. My sister would understand if I bail on her, but I haven't seen her in a while.

Any suggestions, internet?

I have a paper thats due soon, but I have a problem. Lexis Nexis and Access World News has not given me the page number on a newspaper that I am using. I'm wondering how to both in-text cite and works cited cite this in MLA format, without knowing the page #.

Help sooner rather than later would be appriciated.

I have a HP Bluetooth Mouse X4000b. I recently run out of batteries, so after I replaced them, I tried getting it back on the computer. The only problem is, I don't know how. The computer recognizes that there is a mouse in devices, it just says it's not connected. I can't seem to remove this "ghost mouse", nor can I seem to add my actual mouse. Any help?

All the step-by-step guides tell me to go to an options tab on the right hand corner, which I don't see.

Help would be much appreciated.

I had this problem a little while ago ever since I forgot to turn off/put to sleep my laptop before going to my friends house. It was one for about 3-4 hours before I came back, notice it froze, and I forced shut it down.

Ever since then, however, the only way to shut down the computer is with the power button. Shut Down process will remain indefinitely (tested for 1 hour) and programs will randomly freeze up, and it's impossible to close them without pressing the power button. These include Internet explorer, Google Chrome, McAfee (commonly freezes), Malwarebytes, Paint.Net, Microsoft Word, and Explorer. Exe.

I was able to run a successful full scan with Malwarebytes once. It said it found 5 things wrong, but was able to remove it all. I have yet to run a successful scan with McAfee since this issue has been occurring.

I have a Dell XPS laptop, running Windows 7. This problem has never caused a Blue Screen, but will freeze indefinitely.

I'm getting a new laptop for college. I suppose the most important thing is for it to last. I'm heading into animation at DePaul university. Any suggestions?

Today I tried going on facebook and my computer froze up before I could even get on the login screen. When it froze, I couldn't do anything with the computer. The touchpad mouse wasn't responding, The page wouldn't load, and I couldn't even eject a disk. I don't seem to have this problem with any other site.

I typically use internet explorer, but I figured that might have been the problem. So I tried Google Chrome out, and it got a little farther (half the login in screen loaded), before the page froze, then the mouse, and than everything else. Help?

I'm going to DePaul university to become an Animation major this fall. While I have thought of quite a few cartoon ideas, someone told me recently that I'll have to think of new ones after I graduate, because any ideas made in a university become property of the university. Is this this true? Is there any way to prevent it?

I was possibly going to draw a comic this summer, and I wanted one of my characters to be Russian. I have his appearance down and everything its just... how do I make him "sound" Russian? I actually know very little about Russia or Russians, because currently, all I'm really doing is adding "comrade" at the end of half of his sentences, and I believe it sounds like a very fake and lazy way of going about it.

A little while ago, my mouse scroll wheel stopped working. I figured I might as well try an easy fix of just reconnecting the mouse. However, once I tried reconnecting it, my laptop couldn't find it, and the mouse doesn't work now.

I have an XPS Dell laptop

I'm using a Dell Mouse. The Model is M/N: M-RBB-DEL4

I've tried new batteries, Add a device, and Add a Bluetooth device. The Laptop doesn't seem to "find" the mouse, even though I place the mouse either on-top of the keyboard or right next to the computer.

Any suggestions?

Hello, I just bought a 10$ Samson M1 Karaoke Dynamic Microphone in hoping to record some audio to put on my computer. Only problem is, it's recording is INCREDIBLY quiet. I can hardly hear it unless I crank my computer audio to 80% or so. Is there anyway to fix this?

I was just wondering because I don't think any animals kiss. So... did someone invent it... or is it an instinct for humans... or something?
