I am beginning to think that the people in this section who i would consider intelligent, nice, and wise are feeding dumb peoples questions by answering questions that are way to simple, not fun to answer, irrelivent to the section, or questions asked for help with homework (within reason because it is understandable to be confused studying philosophy). Idk most people will think of me as a hater... and yea i kinda am because i am sick of not being able to find interesting and good questions in this section. I used to love this section and all of its users, but it just seems tainted by dumb people =\.

anyways i suppose i am a troll, but i know others would agree and those who agree will have my respect.

i think we shud keep trollin crap posts and answering the questions that deserve it.

should i still keep trying to help people who i feel do not deserve it because they are either not going to appreciate it or they cannot no matter what be helped either because they are too dumb or lazy? I have been feeling like the majority of people in the world are not worth me going out of my way to help or be nice to them (i naturally have good manners and am helpful so i am not saying be just all out for myself just go outa my way) because they are either jerks or they are idiots or have too many problems that would take me my whole life to help them fix which in turn would destroy my life... don't get me wrong i know people who i would help no matter what because they are deservant in my eyes such as my mother father brother and a very very very select few friends. Idk what are your guys opinions? anyone feel the same way or feel otherwise?

First off this is a question reguarding my lack of memory. I for pretty much my whole life have never been able to link words to definitions and i also (quite frequently which is irritating) can't recall a word to use in a conversation. I will just add that i do have ADHD and am dislexic (not super bad dislexic but ya) but i am on medication for my ADHD and trust me it works... i know this because i have been on 5 other medications until i found this one and it raised my grades in high school from D's and C's to B's and A's (except math I am gifted in that way just don't ask me to tell you the meanings of math terms XD...) so i know it works. I have Ankylosing Spondylitis (It's an arthritis) , and these things are pretty much the only health issues I have. Anyhow now that i have told you guys everything (even things that probobly are not even linked to my crap memory) I am wondering if anyone could tell me what memory issues i might have or how to help my memory? just a little more info... I am not stupid, I have a strong visual memory for example for my high school automotive class I constructed a 3D model in my mind of an engine (very general model that can be applied to pretty much any car engine) and i also knew why and how everything worked. The trouble was on tests i couldn't for the life of me remember any terms or definitions!!! same for every single class i have ever had!!! the only reason i got 100%'s and more in all of my math classes is because i can problem solve like a mo fo but when it comes to memorization... im SOL because I no matter what cannot remember stuff... I really do try hard... and have always done so but to no luck, i have even changed my diet to increase memory and brain function (which took me a while to look up and construct the diet to me personally) and have done memory games but also to no luck... the only reason i write this is that I am in college now and I am in the IT (information technology) field (becomeing a computer networker) and there are so many definitions its driving me up the wall and killing my self esteem... I have been passing with C's and B's in all of my classes but only by devoteing all of my time into trying to remember and i feel like it shouldn't be that hard... If you are thinking that It is just because i don't understand the field and whatnot I really do, I understand how computers work and everything it's just the terms like i said!!! well this is way to long sorry... most people won't read this and of the people that do probobly wont view it as worth their time to comment, but i assure you for those who do read this and give an intellectual answer or just any helpful input i am very very greatful! if you need any further information i will edit this as need be... Thanks to all who put up with reading this crud and actually reply because i can honestly say that i would not give a crud if i was on the other end seeing how much text there is and on top of that how much thought i would need to put in. take a second and divide it in half then take that half and divide it in half then take that and divide it in half also... you can do this and infinate number of times meaning that theres an infinate number of minute fractions of time. wouldnt this mean that it would take infinate amounts of time to do anything?

sorry if you can't understand what im trying to say i havn't slept in about 30 hours so this is the last thing im doing before i go to sleep.

ok i have a challenge... try and come up with a totally origional never before thought of thought. write your concious stream of thought down as the answer.

i just thought that this would be interesting to see how people think and to see how origional people can be and how easily new thought can be inspired...

should a person be picky about who they attempt to establish a relationship with or should one be more understanding and be more inviting and in doing so meet more people?

this is my arguement if a person doesnt match your expectations (not like oh she must be a 10 and be super smart and nice) should you even give it a chance? because if they dont meet up to your expectations would they ever?

at the same time if you dated more people theres a greater chance that you might find THE ONE simply because you have tried more people.

idk im asking this because i am a very picky person and do not date that much because of it im 19 and have only dated 4 different girls.

also when i say picky i dont mean that they have to be perfect tbh i dont even know what i find attractive all the girls i have dated have been vastly different.

about a week ago i had a wierd dream...

I awoke in my dream to a presence of pure white light so white and pure that it was golden but was white at the same time (wierd i know doesnt make sense).

I felt extreme love and compassion for the light, which was not a physical being but a presence, moreso than my mother father or anyone alone or combined.

I the light told me through feelings and only feelings that it wanted me to follow it and by doing so leaving earth for good.

I told the light through feeling that i was not ready to leave yet and that there was so much i can do for the people i care about and for people who might need me.

After that i felt a love and sadness, both equally great, and then woke up taking in the biggest breath i had ever taken in my life and in doing so returned warmth to my entire body.

I know that there are going to probobly be people who are gunna totally bash me for saying this but i truly believe that the light was god and that he wanted me to go to heaven...

simply because i have never ever experienced such emotion or feelings for anything ever as i did in my dream, also i have never and i still cant think by feelings alone like i did in my dream. (ive tried lol).

Since then i have had this feeling of unworthyness like i dont deserve to be on earth. for example say i really wanted to be on the football team but they said no so i just kept *itching to them about it and they finally say fine you can be on the team... i didnt really deserve to be on the team yet i am...

I just dont know what to make of this experience... any opinions and thoughts are welcome.

also i am hardly religious at all. I believe that there is a god a devil demons angels heaven and hell and a person must do what he/she thinks is right. thats how i live life.

well yesterday my girlfriend took her drivers test and passed but i wasnt there to congradulate her because i am out of town and since i was out of town her friend (whos a guy) dropped her off and stayed to give her a ride... well she said that she was so happy she kissed him on the cheek and hugged him... and i am wondering if she likes him or if it was just cuz she lost control because she was happy? but my thoughts are either she really lost control and feels guilty that she kissed him so she told me or that she kissed him because she thinks of him a little bit more than a friend?

For as long as i can remember I have felt not necessarily bad but definately not good....

My mental state and physical state is almost always 100% of the time neutral...

I cant feel happy or sad..

For example when my cat died a while ago i didnt care nor when my uncle died or cousin (granted i viewed them as more of aquantances) but still i should have felt some remorse for them. Also when my uncle died i was given 20,000 dollars but i really didn't care.

Feels like im just viewing life as if it were on the TV. Watching yet another boreing show made to distract people from reality.

The reason I picked philosophy sector of Y/A is because its my favorite sector and I feel like the people on philosophy are maybe just a little bit deeper in their thought processes than most other people in other areas XD
