Why is it that most raps nowadays suck? Look at sean paul, you can't understand a word he says in his songs. Eve his nonunderstandable nonrap songs are better than, say, 2chains.

Even 2 people (BIG and tupac) who's been dead so many years now are still so much better than the rappers today. Those 2 are good lyricist.

I'm not saying ALL raps today are bad. Some are catchy but the lyrics used suck.

Also, not sure if anyone noticed, but the RnB in the 1990s were about love. Now, they are all about sex.

I bought my car from an auto shop (shop that fixes car) about 4 months ago. I also signed a few forms registering the car to my name, title and how much I bought the car and how much miles it had. They also gave me a form that states that I just bought the car so in case i get pulled over, they won't give me a ticket.

After a month, I called them regarding the car's registration. They said they already turned it in and that the DMV is taking a while to send it to me. I believed him because this is not the first i've heard of it or experience it.

After 2 months, I called them again because by now, I don't think the DMV takes this long to send me the registration. They explained to me that they lost the registration paper and haven't turned it in. Furthermore, the registration should be mailed to me by the end of the week (The week of 1/20/14) because they are already looking for it.

I called them today and they said that I will get it by Monday, but I kept asking him questions and he changed it to, "I will turn it in on monday, so you can get the registration by Friday".

I'm sorta irritated off because these guys not only ripped us off with the price, there were then a few problems that sprung up after a few days of owning it. i feel that they are, again, prolonging the situation enough that I would forget the registration. I haven't got pulled over or anything. I have bought a car in the past (from a different shop and person) and they gave me a paper that states i just got the car. A few days later, I get pulled over for registration tags and showed him the paper. He didn't give me a ticket. On the other hand, my car now hasn't been registered for a few months and I'm afraid i will get a ticket. The car is a 2000 bmw 323ci with 175k mi. Got it for $5,000.

Is there any law or ANYTHING that can make the shop liable for any registration issues that might come up? What should I do at this point? Should I go to the shop and take them to the DMV with me? Can I still return the car?

I was planning on building a gaming computer (most likely be around $1000 or more) to sell on craigslist or ebay or online for profit. How likely is it that someone will buy it for say $1200 (let's say it cost me $1000 to build).

Was planning on going with i7 quad with 1tb or more hard drive, 32gb ram, not sure what graphic card to use yet. Not sure if it will be sli/crossfire either (I'm leaning towards it but not sure hoe to build one of those yet). As for cooling, most likely be a fan with some vents, not water cooled.

I have a 1990 240sx. I was going to buy megan coilovers but I wasn't sure if i will need suspension arms (Front Tension Rods, Rear Upper Control Arms, Rear Traction Links, Rear Toe Links) when i lower my car. I don't plan on tucking the tires or make it so low that it's not functional. I plan to have it at least 1"-2" gap from tire to fender. I don't plan on having some serious camber either. If camber is necessary to achieve 1-2" gap then so be it.

And no, I don't plan on saving another 300-500 for a pair of good coilvers. This 240 is just for daily until I get myself a wrx.

There is a whining sound coming from the engine bay. On my dash, the battery signal is lit. I was driving and I noticed that the lights got dim all of a sudden and i can hear electricity crackling behind my speed cluster or somewhere underneath dash, but i know it's on the driver side.

what could it be?

It's a bone stock 1990 240sx.

I was driving around 75mph and all of a sudden while my foot was still on the gas, the engine felt like it stopped but it didn't. I was on 5th and the rpm (from 3.5k) would go down, even when my foot was still on the gas. So I tried pressing the gas to see if it would go back up again, but no luck. While this is happening, I was also losing speed even when my foot was on the gas (obvious but just added it in there). So, I let go to let the engine recover. It did go back to normal once it hit 2.7k rpm.

This happened on the freeway. Happened maybe 5 times total over the last 2 months.

Is it the timing belt? I checked the belt and it seemed like little tracks are still good. Can i freely move those around (as in rotate them to see the whole belt) without messing up the timing? Compression? I I doubt it's the oil because that thing is changed religiously.

Can anyone tell me any info on how to not get extra charge for being 24 yrs of age when renting a car from, say enterprise? I want to go to LA but I know my car won't make it. I will be at LA at most for 3 days going to Disneyland and pretty much just visiting LA. I will be the only driver and will need a sedan. The car I need will be a sedan, the size of an accord or camry or corolla or similar size. Of course I will get insurance included for the car.

What info should I know or things I should or shouldn't say when renting a car from any car rental company?

So a 2 weeks ago I checked my oil level and it was below half/almost empty. I figured I can still run it a couple more days before I change it. When I checked it the first time, the color wasn't dark. Today when I checked it, I have lots of oil and the color was really dark. I don't understand how my oil level went up a lot. Also, my engine is making weird clicking noises.

I usually warm up the car for like 3-5 mins before i drive it. Its a 1990 ka24e engine (non rebuild).

Another thing, this has been going on for almost a month. When i start the car, i normally smell the exhaust from the pipe (Not literal). After driving it, i smell a burning smell (its not the tires) but sure where its coming from. What could it be?

the bay area? Near san fracisco, san leandro, hayward, oakland, fremont, newark, union city? I know there is one in san jost but forgot where it was. SJ is too far for me at the moment (car broke down).

I am not really sure what they look like. I looked online but the leaves don't seem exact. I want to see a tree so i can make a future reference.

I ran out of bleach but i had plenty of 409 left so i used that instead mixed with water.

usually do 10:1 mixture of bleach and water to clean reptile cages but since i had non, i decided i would use 409.

I know 409 is a chemical that may harm my reptile in the long run. So i figured mixing it with water will make the chemical more tolerable.

After using the 409/water mixture, i sprayed (spray bottle) the cage with with water twice and used a paper towel to dry it. I then waited about 1 hour for the fumes to disappear, then placed everything back including my reptile.

will mixing 409 and water together reduce the effectiveness of of the cleaning solution? my mixture was 80% water and 20% 409.

I am 23 and i sort of want to join a branch (navy, military, air force, marines or w/e). I'm 5'10 and 120 pounds. I'm pretty skinny.

I was leaning more towards the navy or the air force. Those are my top two choices, the rest idk about.

I know boot camp is like a month long, i think, and i don't think being skinny during a boot camp is a good idea.

I'm just wondering if i will be eligible to join despite my weight.

so i went out with this girl couple days ago to a club and we had fun. We slept in a hotel room but did nothing because her friend was there in the same room. We hung out in her room and just to know each other more. i cant tell whether she liked me or not but since she kissed me first, i think she does. or was that alcohol?

I work for a hotel and she was staying in the hotel for work. She's from japan and shes going back in 2 weeks.

What i cant get in my head is that shes going back in two weeks and i cant seem to get her off my mind. She's not the prettiest girl but i just love her warm personality. And no, im not shallow. Also she's like 9 yrs older than me. Im 22. lol.

As i slow down, either from 4th, 3rd or 2nd gear off 3k rpm, the engine and exhaust is very loud compared to other people's car. Is this normal?

Last semester, i had finals. During those finals week, i wasn't sleeping at all. A few months passed by and now its really hard for me to sleep at night. I barely sleep and when i do, its usually during the day. Only thing is, my sleep only lasts for about 2 to 3 hours.

I tried sleeping early @ around 9pm but when i close my eyes, nothing really happens. I close my eyes for a while but it just ends up straining my eyes and it starts hurting. So, i just stand up and get on the computer or watch tv.

Ever since then, i just go to gym @ around 1 am and come back at 3 am, take a warm shower and get on the computer or watch tv.

i need help cuz i'm just tried and cranky all day and i've been getting a lot of pimples. I didn't have pimples before, but i'm just breaking out bad.

anyone know a good medication to help me sleep? that doesnt need a dr. perscription.

so far i've heard many of these "nice guys finish last" crap. I've not really been in that situation and when i experienced it for the first time, it made me think if it was true or not. Also, i was on youtube one night and saw a video from wong fu productions called "just a nice guy," or something like that. The video had a meaning and it came across to me as "nice guys don't always finish last."

Anyways, i went out with this girl and she told me i was cute and that i'm a nice guy. We were having fun and laughing a lot. The only problem when we went out was, someone stole her jacket when we weren't at the table. Our night ended early and she decided that it'd be best if she and i went home. So we did. Unfortunately, we ended up not talking after that "date." When i call her, she don't answer or return my call. Before we went out, we were good. We talked quite a few times and laughed.

Oh... there was this one thing she said during our "date." She said that she was looking for a guy who has a job and that is either the same age as her or older.

I'm 21 and she's 27. I don't really care about the age because she was such a nice person and also cute. I do have a job but i guess when she said that she wants a guy who has a job, i think she meant a stable, good paying job. I'm not saying she's a gold digger.

I really wish that she and i remained friends after....but i think it's too late for that....

I have to lift up my car in my garage because i need to get under it to work on my exhaust. I've always gone to the shop by my school but now they closed so i have to do it at my house now. Whats a good ramp/jack to use? would ramp be better than a jack?

Wouldn't ramp be easier than a jack because all you have to do is drive up to it? Compared to the jack where the car is stationary and you lift it up from there.

Why are my pecs so uneven? as in size wise. My left pecs is waaay bigger than my right pecs? why is that and how can i fix it?

My parents and my other family members (uncles & aunts) wants me to join the navy. I was out with my family and my relatives for the weekend. They tried really hard to persuade me to join the navy. After all the talks and benefits they told me, i was hooked. No doubt is it a good way out and i wouldn't have to worry about finding another job, since it's a job already.

I did my research about navy but only found a little. Before all this navy sh!t, i wanted to join the Airforce but got lazy and didn't. So now i'm thinking I might just join the airforce instead of the navy..

SO thats the story.

On to the question..

If i was to serve, wouldn't it mean i would be away from my family (wife & kids)? Whether be it navy or airforce, either way i will still be gone. Even though i'm only 21 and i don't have a family yet, i think ahead and see that if i was to join, that would mean i would be away from my family (wife & kids) majority of the time, which i don't like. Growing up, i didn't have a good loving family. So i want to change that with my own family. I don't wanna be gone away from my kids. That's the only thing keeping me from joining. Other than that, the benefit, pay and all that stuff is good.

For those who serve, were you apart from your family most of the time where your wife nagged at you about it? How long was your shortest and longest time away from your family (wife & kids)?
