My boyfriend age 45 and I age 51 have been together for 2 years now. We've lived together for a year and Im worried he is never going to propose. Ive talked to him about it and he has all the excuses in the world to not marry me. Were both financially stable so money isn't an issue as to why we can't wed. Im wondering if I need to get out of this relationship. If he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me wouldn't he propose by now? Im so confused and would love to get insight from other people because I dont want to be the live in girlfriend forever.

I have epilepsy thats well controlled with medication. My boyfriend told me last night he has parkinsons. I knew he was kind of shaky but thought it was nerve damage. Now that he's told me that he also has a neruological disease I'm starting to question if we could make it work as a couple because we both have something. Im worried it might too much for each of us to handle. Im wondering if its better for us to be with partners that don't have something, so we will have someone to care for us when were older. IDK what are y'all thoughts. Can it work or should we split?
