Heartworm Treatment . . .?
Well, my mom and I are considering adopting a dog from our local humane society, the thing is the poor pup has heartworm, but depending on the treatment cost we are still very interested in adopting her! We have already emailed afew vets and we are going to the shelter this saturday to take a look at her and put down the $20 for a holding deposit. I do have afew questions for those whom have had it done before.
How much did you pay for the treatment?
Did the pet stay in the clinic for the entire process?
How long was the whole treatment?
Anything about it I should know?
How should I handle the dog after the treatment is completed?
