94 s10 blazer exhaust turning cherry red and hesitating upon acceleration?
Ok, 94 s10 chevy blazer (tahoe ed) with a 4.3 vin W. The exhaust turns cherry red with heat in minutes of motor being on, and it sputters like it's out of gas upon acceleration from a stop or near stop. Allready replaced: wires, plugs, fuel filter, muffler, cat-converter, manifold gasket, and it just got a motor vac not 6 months ago. And I'm a stay at home mom, so not too much drive time since. Plus it get's regular tune-ups, so it's likely not anything to do with that either.
PLEASE HELP! Hubby's about to sell my truck cause he can't figure it out!

2 AnswersBoats & Boating1 decade agoRestoration of paint on jet boat.?
I inherited a 1979 jet boat, that has a beautiful paint job, however, it is under some sticky algae, as well as other minor issues(pitch, and such). I don't know anything about what I'm doing. I don't know how to get the algae off without hurting the paint job, and I don't know how to buff it to a mirror shine. Hubby's job is rebuilding the motor, and mine is the cosmetics. Can anyone help me? Does anyone know any resources that address such issues? I also have to rebuild the seats, so if anyone want's to share any tips and tricks they've learned about that as well, that'd be just great!

3 AnswersBoats & Boating1 decade ago94 Chevy S10 Blazer/Tahoe fuel problems.?
I am trying to help my husband out who doesn't have enough time to stretch to all our problems. So please bear with my lack in ability with termenology.
My truck sometimes has a hard time starting. Hot or cold, makes no difference. Always starts, just difficult on occasion. Maybe one out of every 3 or 4 starts is rough. Giving it a little gas seems to help it start. While driving it lopes? Feels like strong winds sporatically hitting me head on? Matters not what gear I am in, tho drive, as opposed to overdrive, seems the worst. Just replaced fuel filter and gave it a tune up. Is it my fuel pump? Any other suggestions as to what to check? Crud in lines built up? (Side note, fuel filter was WAY overdue. Full of black, gritty crud.)
