A young woman buys a mirror at an antique shop, and hangs it on her bathroom door. One evening, while getting undressed, she playfully says "Mirror, mirror, on my door, make my bustline forty four".

Instantly, there is a brilliant flash of light, and her breasts grow to enormous proportions. Excitedly, she runs to tell her husband what happened, and in minutes they both return.

This time the husband crosses his fingers and says "Mirror mirror on the door, make my penis touch the floor!".

Again, there's a bright flash...and his legs fall off.

What is going on?

If so, would this encourage people, especially children, to order a beer or wine instead of a cola or a lemonade?

Is there a big market for such things? Do supermarkets deliver?

Our daily newspaper again has a report on the threat of losing the World Cup facing SA. Now Sepp Blatter apparently has 3 alternative countries lined up that could host the World Cup with only one year´s notice. What do you think?

Expats, do you think that living outside South Africa, you are able to form a more unbiased opinion of the goings-on in the country? Do you have the impression that South Africans living IN the country, experiencing the daily trials and tribulations, have become slightly irrational, insensitive to others´ opinions, their judgement of the harshness of crime somewhat "blunt"?

I do not mean to offend anyone with this question, please. But, does the daily stress of survival "change" our "human-ness" ??

In a cookery book by our famous SA chef, Garth Stroebel, there is mention of a sea fish found only in South Africa. Unfortunately he does not name the fish. Does anyone know?

Should the whole world introduce an international driving ban on ONE day in the week, like a Sunday or a Saturday? Would this help save fuel? (It does not solve the problem that our oil fuel reserves are dwindling)

There might be the added advantage that we are "forced" to rest for one day in the week, and an added bonus of no car thefts in SA on our "no driving" day.

Or perhaps only one ONE day in the month, including no flights or any other form of transportation that consumes fuel from oil ??

Is it permitted to mow one´s lawn on a Sunday?
