What happened to my information on Yahoo Answers?
It's been a while since I checked in on Yahoo Answers. Now when I try to check back on questions I answered recently I hit the MY ACTIVITY tab then MY Q&A and this is what I get:
Sorry, we couldn't find who you were looking for
This person may not exist, there may be a problem with the link or **gulp** their account has been suspended.
BUT. if I look up the questions manually I can see my answers listed... anybody got any ideas? I also get the same message if I click on my name in the field that holds my point total...
2 AnswersYahoo Answers9 years agoGoing to Costa Rica next week 3/15-21 2010. Have a few questions?
I see lots of references on line listed in $US. Is CR like Peru and Aruba and other places where there is a large traffic in $US and you can purchase in either local currency or $US without difficulty, even in many big businesses/stores. In fact some countries I have been to actually have ATMs that dispense either the local currency or $US and will bill your CC in $US, which avoids a currency exchange fee.
Also, how common are ATMs to find (do most of the local banks have them accessible or do you have to go into the bank to change money or get cash from a debit card?) This was a problem in Aguas Calientes near Machu Picchu when I was there as there were NO banks or ATMs in the city at all...
And lastly (for now) what is the current exit visa fee? Is it cash only? Is it payable in colones or $US only? (I almost got stuck once when they wanted $US only to leave a country!!)
Thanks!
5 AnswersCosta Rica1 decade agoNeed info on FIA 2010 in Costa Rica -- ticket prices, availability etc. (esp Ballet Nacional de España)?
Hola...
We (my wife and I) are going to Costa Rica on March 15-21. We want to rent a car (4X4) and visit a few places in the country, but are VERY interested in seeing the Ballet Nacional de España at the Teatro Nacional in San Jose on the 18th-20th. I have found a web-site with details on the FIA and it appears that the tickets are 3,000 colones. This is also the admission price for visiting the Teatro. Does anyone know if that means the performance is 'free', or is there an additional fee? If there is, can one order/buy tickets in advance or are they only first come first served/general admission? The web site says tickets are not yet available. I have been looking at the FIA 2010 website and there are several performances/venues we may be interested in visiting, but many of the rest all seem to be 'gratuito' (free). We are terribly excited about our upcoming visit, so if you want to give any other info/suggestions/warnings etc we would be happy to hear them as well. I know that we will not be able to do justice to the entire country in just a week, so we are planning to hit just one or two areas and San Jose. Currently we are leaning towards a few days in the Arenal/Monteverde area and a couple on the beach (Nicoya peninsula or possibly Manual Antonio area?) with the rest in San Jose and surrounding areas. If you have other thoughts we will be happy to hear them.
2 AnswersCosta Rica1 decade agoWhat is "ugly alice" really called?
In the south they have a plant called "ugly Alice" locally. Does anyone know the real name of this plant? It has a sort of speckled (very small specks) leaf that is basically a light olive green with a sort of reddish tint. The leaves are evergreen and the plant is a shrub/bush that is very free form/ indeterminate in shape.
2 AnswersGarden & Landscape1 decade agoWho are the two guys that did the music intro for Chappelle's show?
They were playing and in some versions Dave would walk by and put money in their 'collection plate'... in other versions he joined in singing ... I believe one of them may be Frederick Yonnet, but who is the older guy?
