I've got a Ju-jitsu tournament coming up on Saturday, where i have to weigh in at 4:30. Currently I am 7 pounds over. Going up in weight isn't really an option anymore.

I know 7 is very doable, I'm just not sure the correct way to go about it. I'm thinking about just drinking 1.5-2 gallons of water during Thurs/Fri, then at 7:30pm on friday i will stop drinking water altogether. Giving me almost 24hours to lose the water weight, and if any extras i can just run it off.

I'm just not sure if that is overkill. I don't want to do this and realize i actually cut 12 pounds or w/e... was wondering if anyone that understands what they are talking about can approve of this method for 7 pounds, or if they would have a better way?

BTW if it matters i am 134 needing to make 127 (with the gi)

I think i sprained my toe. It's really swollen on the knuckle area, and has a light bruise covering most of the knuckle. It's very painful, very hard to walk.. and the pain woke me up quite a bit throughout the night.

idk what it is, and im not really to worried but wondering what it is now once it has been going on for about 2 years.

when i stand up i get really dizzy about 20% of the time. i can't see anything as it is just a complete blur (lasts about 10 seconds) at times i can still think strait and have learned to actually be able to walk like this aslong as i know where everything is. sometimes i get to the point where idk what is going on and have to hold onto something for that 10 seconds.. and have fell on more than a couple occasions, when i get up i dont really have recelection of the last 10 seconds (makes sense though if all i saw was a blur)

wondering if anyone could tell me what it is, i don't think it is anything serious though as it has been happening for about 2 years and out side of that 10 seconds that i am in that blur nothing bad has happened.
