  • Changing "slant" of teeth cost and time?

If you look at people from the side, sometimes their teeth look like the slant out, sometimes they just go up and down. Mine slant out, but I like the look of inward-slanted teeth. Is it possible do change thing? If so, about how much would it cost, how invasive would it be, and how long would it take?

This is probably dumb and not worth pursuing, I'm just curious.

  • Joining the navy after college?

I am hoping to join the navy after graduating from college. I will have a bachelor's in psychology, with a concentration in neuroscience. Unfortunately, this does not qualify me for much in the military. Nonetheless, I think it could be very interesting and rewarding to work in medical support as a hospital corpsman, which, to my knowledge, does not even require any sort of college degree.

    1. Does hospital corpsman seem like a good option for me?

    2. How realistic is it to spend only 2-4 years in active duty, especially in this sort of field? I would like to start graduate school no more than 4 years after graduating from college.

  • What job would you suggest for me?

I know it's my decision and I should weigh everything and whatnot, but please just answer. You might recommend something I haven't heard of before.

College studies: (still under consideration) psychology and English double major with neuroscience minor, anticipating fairly significant experience in hard sciences and math, along with some social sciences and humanities.

Intend to go to earn a PhD in psychology.

    Myers-Briggs type INTJ

I enjoy some structure, but not too much

Probably not empathetic enough to be a therapist, but I don't mind working directly with people

Salary doesn't really matter, as long as I can get by

I'm fairly accomplished in visual arts

So far, abnormal and personality are my favorite branches of psychology

  • Help migrating to a new Mac?

I'm trying to migrate from an old MacBook (it uses Tiger) to a new MacBook Pro. The migration assistant on the new computer tells me to open migration assistant on the old one and select "migrate to another Mac," but the only options on the old computer are "migrate from." I don't see any "migrate to" options. How do I migrate if the correct option is unavailable on the old computer?

  • Getting rid of black hair?

I've been dying my hair black for several years, and I'm ready for a change. The thing is...I have absolutely no interest in most natural hair colors. I want to go to white, which I realize is completely impractical and basically impossible, since it's black now.

It occurred to me, though, that I could start bleaching the roots now, keeping most of it black, and keep bleaching the roots until the black gradually grew out.

First question: do you think this could look interesting?

Second question: if I dyed the bleached roots a temporary color, like blue, could I then (in several months or years or however long it takes for the black to grow completely out) remove the blue with something like a less intense bleach? Or would it be more advisable to just not use a temporary color?

  • Can I conceivably study abroad and double major?

I have to have 32 credits in a department to major in it. I want to major in English and psychology. I also want to go to Germany for half or all of my junior year, but I need 3-4 semesters of German to do it and I currently have none. Is this a reasonable endeavor, if I plan on graduating after four years of college? I am a first year at the moment.

  • Do I get unlimited texts to other Verizon users if I have a 500/month text plan?

Just got a Verizon phone, but I didn't want to pay $20 a month for unlimited texting, so I got the $10 plan of 500 texts per month. However, I don't know if I can text other people with Verizon as much as I want. Can I?

  • Does AP send you something if you are a scholar with honors or with distinction?

I think I met the requirements for being an "AP scholar with distinction," but the AP people didn't send me anything informing me that I was with my scores. Do they send something later? Do they not send anything? Or did I just not get the distinction?
