Now, I'm not sure if this already exists, but I just thought of a new way to hold a fantasy league.

Each fantasy owner drafts 2 NFL QBs, 2 NFL RB cores, 2 WR/TE core, an NFL Defense (Just like standard), and 2 NFL teams Kickers (also like standard). I combined WR and TE because TE don't usually run the ball.

Here's an example of a starting lineup and this league would draft using snake. It would be head to head - non PPR:

GB QBs Rodgers + Young combined stats

NYG RBs (all RBs on the squad)

ATL WR/TE

SD DEF

OAK K

This format would ensure that if you owned NYG's RBs, you wouldn't have to worry about Brown vulturing the TD from Wilson because you would own both NYG RBs. You would accumulate all of their Rushing and receiving stats - and even their throwing stats if one of them threw. I don't really see any downsides to this format.

You would draft a starting lineup and a full bench squad which would give you 1 backup at each position. It would be up to you to decide who you think would have a better chance of scoring points each week - ATL WR/TE or DET WR/TE.

Has anyone ever heard of this type of format? Does it already exist? Do you like the idea?

I have been given the 1st pick in my 12 team, standard, flex league. I'm obviously going to take Adrian Peterson, but I'm worried about him trying too hard to follow up his fantastic 2012 year. Given that he is the unquestioned #1 overall pick in fantasy this year, do you think my strategy should be to trade Peterson and a 4th round RB (Ivory or Bradshaw) for someone's top 2 RBs like McCoy and Forte?

Do you think someone would even consider this deal? Do you think I should be asking for more? Would a Peterson/Ivory for McCoy/Forte be asking too much?

What's your take on it?

I used to own a 3rd Generation ipod Nano, and a while back, I downloaded a game called Phase. It took the music from your ipod and gave it notes to play on the screen just like Guitar Hero or Rock Band would for the songs they used for their game. So, is there a game out there for the iPhone that allows you to take your own music from your iPhone and play it, just like Phase, or am I out of luck? I know there are games like Tap Tap Revolution, but I don't believe that those let you use your own music. If they do, please let me know! Thanks!

So, here's the thing. My Auction draft didnt go as planned. I had $30 left over because i overcompensated for the players i wanted later in the draft. I planned on drafting Austin Jackson, Prado, and Trumbo, but was outbid on every one of them. My team ended up looking like this: Tulo, McCutchen, Verlander, King Felix, and the Benchwarmers. I have already made a risky trade to try to spread the talent around a bit, but I think I need to do more.

The trade was:

I got Adam Jones, Prado, and Alexi Ramirez.

I know right? this looks like a really bad trade, but could pay dividends if Tulo were to get hurt once

again.

I have already tried to trade my catchers away. Nobody is biting. Do you guys have any suggestions on how I could improve? I know its early, but i might dig myself into a hole too large before too long if I don't do something. Maybe trade Verlander or Felix for another bat? BTW, I don't like chasing saves. I prefer to wait until guys like Valverde come along. When guys like that show up, I try to be the first to snatch em, so forget about trading for a closer. :)

I'm 19 years old in the state of Michigan. I have never consumed alcohol, nor have I smoked anything. In fact, i dont plan on drinking until i am 21 years old. I do not ever plan on smoking.

Anyway, I plan on attending a party soon and am a little nervous about it. It will be my 3rd party, but this time there might be weed. The 1st 2 times, there was no weed, so I was not worried as much. My main purpose is to hang out with my friends, turn down the music occasionally, and try my best to avoid making a noise disturbance. I also plan on being DD for everyone that won't be staying the night at the house. There should be about 20 people there, and I expect to have to drive at least a half dozen home around 3am. Nevertheless, my main concern is the confrontation with the cops.

1. If a cop shows up, my friends will expect me to answer the door, so what should I do? Should I simply answer all of his questions with: "I would like to remain silent?" Or will that give him probable cause to want to search the house because he thinks something is up? Can you provide me with a few scenarios or questions that the cop might throw at me, as well as how to answer them? I don't want to get my friends in trouble, but I can't risk my own future because they wanted to be stupid.

2. Can I get in legal trouble for "attending" this party? I am in no way providing the alcohol, but Why would the cops believe me? Even if the cops breathalyze me, can't I still get an MIP? What are your experiences with this?

I know this question has probably been asked quite a bit, but I have seen yes and no answers to my question #2. You would think that the cops would be grateful that I was DD and let me go based on my responsibility, right?

Hey guys. I was just wondering if anyone wanted to join a league that I’m creating next year. I already have a few takers for the 8 team league, so you had better be quick. If enough people want to do it, I may make it a 16 team league.

Ok, so here’s how it will go. The managers will have to behave ethically for this to work, and all owners must be present at the pre-draft meeting. At the meeting, we will discuss the draft order. The way this will work is that if I am chosen to pick first (I will draw names out of a hat, and yes, u have to trust me) I get to choose from ANY of the 32 NFL teams to have on my roster. Let’s say I choose the Patriots. Then team #2 would choose his team, and so on. We would pick teams like a snake draft, so, to give u an idea, with the first pick, I could realistically end up with the Patriots, Lions, Bengals, and Chiefs. Each Owner will command 4 NFL teams, and will use them every week, with the exception of bye-weeks. This will make the actual draft a piece of cake, and u don’t even have to attend the real draft as long as u set your players up for your 4 squads. If there is a Roto option, it would make this much easier because H2H doesn’t seem to work when Byes are involved (I could have all 4 of my teams on a bye during a week, and that’s not a fair matchup). So, the scoring will be Point Based, and Roto Based – basically standard scoring without matchups, throughout the whole year. Whoever scores the most standard fantasy points will win the league. Im still not sure if I am able to set the league up this way, but I think it would be very fun to try.

The rosters will be set up similar to this: I will use the 4 teams listed as an example.

A rule will be put into place so that you must play the top players on each team. This means that I can play Amendola, Lloyd, Green, and Sanu, but i can't play 3 Pats and only 1 Bengal.

This will require a ton of integrity from all of the owners, so I hope that if you choose to join, you will follow the rules.

So, to recap: choose 4 NFL teams, (or 2 if we have 16 teams) use their players for the year, and whoever scores the most Fantasy points at the end of the year will win the league. These league settings are not set in stone, but should give you an idea of how we should do it. I’m still not sure how we could all meet up for the pre-draft meeting. Maybe AIM or something? I'm not arguing or complaining, i'm just asking why. I haven't had a good dream that i can remember in ages, but all of a sudden, i have had 4 goof dreams in 2 nights (woke up between dreams). 1 of them involved winning a 1 year, all-expense paid trip to Florida. Another included my daycare job at a health club in which we had all the nice kids come in. And finally, I may have gotten a second-hand high from marijuana (never have smoked, never will) because my vision was blurred and I felt very happy. My last dream is difficult to remember, but I remember that it was happy somehow. Any ideas as to why I have had this run of good dreams lately?

I was playing pkmn pearl on emulator (no$gba) and i decided to go underground and look for pkmn. forgetting that i just saved, I got stuck in a trap, and without a mic to blow in, i was literally stuck until I could find one. Luckily my neighbor had 1, so i borrowed it from him. I tested the mic in the settings, and it was working just fine, but it wouldnt work for the emulator. So, realizing that i saved earlier, i decided to hit the "quit" button on the emulator and continue where i left off b4 I dropped down into the underground "hell". Problem is, now my emulator doesnt respond when i open pearl. i have tried opening and closing it 4 times, and even restarting my computer, but nothing has worked. Anybody got any ideas? I was pretty far, and i really dont wanna start all over if i dont have to.

Question says it all. This is probably the last time I will see him at the nursing home. Any ideas?

I am in a little bit of a predicament. I may already know the answer to this, and you might not be able to answer it, but here it goes.

I am a senior in high school. I take my final exams on tuesday and wednesday. There is a possibility that I might not pass Intro to Calculus with a C- or better. However, I do have an extra credit from middle school spanish, which would leave me with 24.5 credits at the end of the year. I guess what I am asking is, will they let me graduate if I failed calculus, considering I need 4 years of math? I already have the 4 year math requirement thanks to my marketing class, but I'm not sure if there is a rule like: "If you take calculus and dont pass, you dont graduate." Can anyone clear this up for me. I would hate to not be able to graduate because of 1 stupid class during my Senior Year. Thanks!
