I have a 3 1/2 year old toddler and a 7 month old baby who will be crawling soon. My 3 1/2 year old has alot of small chokable toys around the house in baskets. Any suggestions on how to safely store these items so when my baby starts crawling, so he wont have access to them, but my 3 1/2 year old will?

im not sure what to get. isnt the registry for the actual wedding gift? what do you buy for the shower??

i am a sahm and my husband works full time. when he comes home she is glued to him and cries if he puts her down. i know this is bc she only sees him for a short period of time and hes like a big play toy, but whenever he holds her (even on the weekends when he is home all day) and tries to hand her off to me she turns and grabs for him. i feel stupid for letting this bother me but it does. is this just a stage babies go through?

my 1 year old has had a runny nose and a broken up cough for the past week now and it hasnt gotten any better. we have been running a humidifier in her room all night and for every nap. now she has bloody snot coming out of her nose. no fever noted and a little more lethargic than normal. could she hae a sinus infection?

i got my hair cut and colored yesterday. i got my normal highlights and decided that i wanted some bangs too. i told my hairstylist not to cut them too thick. well not the case. they are now cut like audrina patridge's new hairstyle and i dont think i look good with them. i think i am in shock b/c i look so different. anyway to style hair to grow these bad boys out?

i live in south carolina, so it doesnt get that cold (average low around 35 at night). my daughter is 9 months old and sleeps in her crib of course without blankets. i have been dressing her in socks and putting her in a fleece footed sleeper at night. when she wakes in the morning her feet and hands are like ice cubes!! we keep the heat on 67 degrees. can she have a small blanket yet? any suggestions on dressing her warmer?

i used to work full time until i had my precious baby girl. now i am a stay at home mom and only work 1 day a week. somedays im fine and loving life and the next day ive never felt so lonely in my life. i guess i feel like everyone is at work and im always home. i do try and get out as much a possible. we walk 2 miles a day, have gymboree once weekly, and i go to target alot! she is now 9 months and im just wondering if this i just me?

at what age does a baby go to 3 meals a day? my baby is 8 months old and gets a 6oz bottle every 4 hours, cereal and 1/2 a jar of fruit or veggie in the am. then in the pm she gets cereal and a veggie-meat mix jar. how and when will i know when to start giving a lunch meal??

im out of ideas to do with my 8 month old to keep us both busy. she is crawling and we go for 2 mile walks everyday and gymboree once a week. i would really like to hear some of your ideas on what we should do to keep busy.

my baby just turned 8 months and boy does she have a serious temper. diapering has become a battle of the wills with us! she wants to turn over and i keep turning her back over and tell her a firm no and she will then lay there and scream like someone is killing her. i try and distract her with toys and that sometimes works but he majority it doesnt. she will also get very worked up when we wipe her face and hands off after she eats her solids and teething biscuit. she is incredibly stubborn and can already pitch a serious tantrum. is this normal behavior for an 8 month old? when will it cease? any tips on turning over while diapering?

is there a special trick to cleaning a the sides of a pack and play where my baby constantly chews on while standing up in it?
