Why should I get a colonoscopy?
I'm now 56 years old and have been avoiding getting a colonoscopy. My friends have told me horror stories about them, the preparation being the scariest thing. I'm in recovery for an eating disorder, and I feel like I basically have to starve and sit on the toilet for a day before the colonoscopy. My doctor told me to go get one. I need to hear about why I should just go get it!
